So, I'm guessing that, somehow, this will be an addon like your other maps? If so, then this could be completely amazing (I can't believe you're actually planning to have path's on this, good luck!), it looks colossal!

Hehe, it is the biggest detailed map ever i made for Liberty City. It's now about 2.5mil poly's and vegetation must come yet biggrin.gif

I actually letting people to my beta who helps me.. But you can make a video before release if you want, now it's just not the time for the videos yet tounge.gif

Looks nice, but you should either remove the specular from the road, or reduce it greatly. Also a higher quality texture would look a bit better, and the blending between the 2 dirt should be a bit better.

Thanks & i'll try to make it different specular, it kinda shines to mutch at evening.
About quality textures the most roads are now 512x1024 and blendings 256x1024, so i guess it's okay for 2.5mil poly map biggrin.gif
Vegetation will cover those areas near the road, so it shouldn't be a problem icon14.gif

No, this is why I said "fake"... but I said that because I remember read you saying something about u'll try make blended materials for this map finally, what happenned? the new GimsIV is a nice tool fot this, isn't? you'll do this later? dozingoff.gif

Ow that, well i've been trying to.. But seems that my models are to big for it. I still can try alpha blending, like placing same model above the previous and use vertex paint to remove upper texture for blending smile.gif but i've also said that i need to do few fixes first and add some more towns, that should be for today icon14.gif

Are you going to do some testing before you release this mod to make sure it doesn't easily cause stability problems for the game?

I have a computer that can run most games at max graphics, and it's amazing how this game has been so badly optimized by rockstar. Currently my copy is stable, but that's because it's lightly modded, as in: no custom models, no map mods (until your's is released), and some minor mods. I really like car mods, but for anyone who wants to know why i don't have any now, they are one of the worst kinds of mods for making your GTA IV unstable (heavy memory leaks, and WAAAAAAYYYYYYY too full of taxi's in single player).

Just the textures don't convince me, resolutions are ok, but they looks low res..
but I think that's because the roads are really large and the uvw is large too.

Can u make a "StillDre's Map Pack" with all maps u have created, i can't play gta iv with Ghost Peak Mountain and RDR desert at the same time.
Is there any possibility of a Map Pack?
And i must say, your work is great! Your maps made my gta a lot better!

Unfourtenley i can't make a map pack, cause IV is kinda pain in the ass with to mutch maps biggrin.gif
And textures are fine imo, a lil' streched like you say Steel. But it's nothing to worry about..
There is offcourse testing going on before the final release, i'm trying to make it less buggy and good for performance aswell icon14.gif
