| I think Agent was going to be Rockstar North's next game after GTA IV but the plans changed and it's why GTA V has been a long time coming. |
nice to see someone else who's considering logic while talking about game timelines.
Anyways, I can't see GTA V taking as long to develop as IV did, considering the grunt work of Iv was building the RAGE engine.
V already has the RAGE engine set up, they just needed tweaks like flying mechanics for planes for the big engine updates, maybe some other engine overhauls for content we don't know about yet.
Also think about how long ago R* went to SoCal,
with the time they have had, they probably started work on Agent, but then got told to go back to GTA. (also assisting with LA Noir.)
Judging by the trailer, most of the map looks finished, they probably just have missions and gameplay tweaks/bug fixes to work on, some music and voicing. I want to say they are approaching 70-80% complete, maybe even close to 90% but I could be wrong.
