Revenge of the Sith by a massive, MASSIVE margin. Ian McDiarmid delivers the best performance in the entire series. Nothing in the originals really compares to it.
Especially when so many people in the first trilogy were clearly embarrassed to be there.

Easiest choice of my life.

The Empire Strikes Back!

4 votes for Phantom Menace? Sometimes I wish these polls were public so we'd all know who's the retard.

The Phantom Menace is not some legendarily bad film. It may lack in terms of story and character, but it looks nice and it was nice late 90s romp, no different from tons of other films from that era, like Lost in Space, Batman Forever etc. Its simply average, 2.5/5

I hate it when people bad mouth The Phantom Menace..... The Darth Maul fight was epic. The old Star Wars film's were too slow for my likeing. Still love them.

The Phantom Menace?!?! REALLY!?! die.gif

Episode 4 is my favorite. I like the originals (although Return of the Jedi was sort of weak).

I chose "Return of the Jedi". I love that speeder bike chase on Endor and just all of the battles in general, from the Sarlacc Pit to the ending duel between Luke and Darth Vader.

Say what now?

Naturally I voted Empire, but New Hope is more than a classic.

Return of the Jedi for me, purely because of the special effects used were miles ahead of their time, and I'm a geek for that kinda stuff.

I can't choose. I love the whole saga. The Star Wars saga is one movie for me. I can, however, grade them individually as stand alone films.

Phantom Menace: 6/10
Attack of the Clones: 5/10
Revenge of the Sith: 8/10
A New Hope: 9/10
Empire Strikes Back: 10/10
Return of the Jedi: 8/10

I think this is the perfect grading of the films.

I actually have to agree that I think that Attack of the Clones was worse than Phantom Menace. It was basically George Lucas trying too hard to be liked from start to finish, like the c*nt he is.

Jango Fett saves Attack of the Clones from being as bad as Phantom Menace. Great character.

The Empire Strikes Back - 10/10(classic)
Star Wars - 8/10(great)
Return of the Jedi - 6/10(couldn't take those stupid Care Bears. Lucas should have used Wookies)
Revenge of the Sith - 6/10(what did Lucas see in Hayden Christensen? thank goodness for Ian - he was awesome as Palpatine/the Emperor )
Attack of the Clones - 3/10(see above)
Phantom Menace - 2/10(too much Jar-Jar, not enough Darth Maul).

IMO, there've only been two great SW films. The rest had serious flaws. The series jumped-the-shark with Return of the Care Bears. And Lucas did a bit of retconning - in Jedi(movie & novel), it's implied Padme died when Leia was "very young"(probaby toddler age). But in Sith, she dies during childbirth - then how could Leia remember her?
