This plugin gives you ability to change settings of lensflare effect.
Also it enables lensflare effect for some ATI videocards.

Looks decent. I've tried the stock settings and they appear to be nice:

Perhaps it will be possible to recreate VC style sun effects using this? I hope so.

Worse thing is that it appears to be cut from PC version (PS2 had decent flares still).

Offtopic: perhaps you know how to apply struct offset to pseudocode vars in IDA? I've tried my luck in researching this function, but pseudocode fails horribly here confused.gif

That VCS lens flare is just like ps2 SA, if someone can figure it out, it would be good for ps2 mod.

Can I use it for PS2 Adaptation mod with your credits? I already configured it.
And I found one bug: flares appears in any weather (including cloudy, rainy, foggy)

No, my video card doesn't suport original lens flares. But I remember on my old another it was invisible while rain, cloudy.

Anyway, is there any fix for turning the lens flare off when its raining?

Other then that, this mod is great. Especially the bonuses.

AFAIK, v2 makes the lensflare more dynamic, and now the textures don't need to be in the .txd anymore.

Also, I couldn't see water on the screen.
And what is different with the new ProportionalCorona's?

I don't think its water on the screen. When its raining, you can see splashes of the rain on the ground now just like you can on your vehicles and player. I don't think this was a feature in the actual game.

The Lensflare effect remains on during rainy weather, when you can't even see the sun. Other than that (so far) I didn't notice any other issues. Nice work icon14.gif

You should probably consider the foggy weather as well, if you haven't already. Also, those sandstorms on the desert area.

hmph, i'm trying to make my textures, could you tell me what each value mean in lensflare.dat? it's quite confusing since it's different ( and better ) than v1
