I had this in my hand yesterday at eb games, but decided to get Assassins Creed 3. I can't find an answer anywhere on the net, so maybe someone here can answer me, is there cop cases in free roam?

OK, I have a feeling EA and Criterion are going to get sued by RockStar Games. I saw a store that said 24 seven. Plus, it looked exactly like it looked in San Andreas.

Oh god.

Holy sh*t, just finished the single player, amazing. That's all I have to say. Great job Criterion, f*ck the haters, this game was your best ever.

Final Rating: 9/10

Other than the annoying traffic, the game is amazing. I enjoyed the time I spent searching around for billboards, cars, and security gates. This game is a MUST BUY.

Apart from the serious performance issues I think is a pretty good title.

Okay now we have 2 Most Wanted titles.
First is from EA's NFS Most Wanted and now we have Criterion's NFS Most Wanted published under EA.
Can we get anymore confusing that this?

My favorite NFS is still Porsche Unleashed. And what makes it great?
1. The name tag you create actually appears on your LP
2. The Horn actually works
3. Hazard lights work too
4. You can adjust the light beams
5. There is a replay mode to see all the cool moves you did at different angles
6. The driver inside the card actually animates, like changing gears
7. Driver wear different outfits depending on fast the car is, stock car=casual clothes, tuned up=driver looks like The Stig
8. Beautiful scenery
Yep, it's those small details that makes a great game.

Did anybody pick this game up? I'm loving it so far. 42% complete with the campaign.

My copy arrived Friday, but I'm too obsessed with AC3. Might start it once I finish.

I hear AC3 is extremely boring as f*ck. Might give it a rent.

Boring as f*ck?
It's the complete opposite.
Assassin's Creed 3 can't get any more exciting.

Because EA finally realised the new direction they are taking NFS in is f*cking stupid and they think that naming their new sh*tty Burnout-ripoff (idgaf if it's by Criterion, it's still copying Burnout) the same as a classic game in the NFS series will get them more money.

This game is of no interest to me, I've done it all on Burnout Paradise.

If they added car customization, however, then I might have purchased it. But knowing EA it'd probably have a sh*tload of DLC so that would drive me away from it.

Well I was OK with NFS HP cause original's name is NFS 3: HP. biggrin.gif

To who has finished it or has played:

I just tried a bit of it, and it looked pretty fun and awesome. I am a big fan of the Burnout series and Burnout Paradise was really nice. From what i've played, this looks like Burnout Paradise!

How long is it to complete? I think there are only 40 cars? Doesn't seem like a big number, I am scared EA will add lots of DLC cars.

How is the multiplayer? I have only played the singleplayer but I think this game's most fun might be in the multiplayer. Nobody has/thinks of getting it for PC?

It's understandable what people say about the NFS series. If Most Wanted wasn't a NFS game, gamers would love it. The game has a lot of visible features from Burnout Paradise, what makes the game even better.

But EA would make much more money if they made a NFS like Underground or Carbon and Criterion would make much more money if they made another awesome Burnout like Paradise was.
The fans are asking for it for a long time, I don't know why they don't just make a NFS with tunning and illegal street races at night. Even just an HD version of NFS Underground would make these people happy.

About Most Wanted, I still didn't have the chance to play it, but it seems very cool. I liked every single Burnout until now - except for Crash! -, so Most Wanted is probably so enjoyable as Burnout 3 and Revenge were.

My favorite car from that game was the Jaguar XJR-15! biggrin.gif

The new game is fun, I have the Android and PC version and they are both great, although the PC version is oddly optimized, random stuttering and does not look much different than Hot Pursuit, despite running worse, but that should be fixed then.

I like the Find a car and keep it thing they have going on, I've never played The Run though, so I don't know if it had it as well. (Only NFS I have never played was The Run, and only played a demo of Shift 1)

The android version looks amazing and runs amazing for a phone game, at times it wouldn't look too out of place on a 360.

Ok, wat?
Are you talking about playing the storyline/singleplayer, then choosing a car and being able to keep it for more than one race?
Because if so, I can confirm that NFS: TR does infact have it, when you get far enough into the story, you can choose between a Audi R8, Audi Quattro Racecar and a Audi S4?, and when you get even further into the story, you will be able to choose between a Pagani Hyuara, Porsche 918 and a (Actually I think that was it, I forgot though, last time I beat the story was in like January.)

I mean where you do not buy cars or unlock them, you just find them and keep them by "jacking" them by pressing "E".

And yep, I am talking about SP.

Is The Run worth it?

There needs to be a new Hot Pursuit game, and one that actually does the NFS: Hot Pursuit series justice.

Also, why has Ferrari been absent from NFS for so many years?

Well, if you like to drive fast and drift around every corner, then I would say yes.

Now some of the cars in the game drift around to much, like the Rauh Welt Porsche, and some of them just handle bad like the Diablo SV. suicidal.gif

The car sounds are very good on stereo, and standard audio, the game also has two sound settings, Racing and Movie, if you choose Racing, the cars will be louder, and if you chooses Movie, youw ill be able to hear the enviroment more and hear the car less.

Here are some pretty cool cars from this game:
Diablo SV
Rah Welt Porsche 993
Corvette ZR1
Lamborghini Reventon
Lamborghini Aventador
Lamborghini (I forgot the last name, but it's a carbon fiber prototype)
Maserati MC12
Pagani Zonda R
Nissan 240Z
Porsche 991 'Snowflake' edition
Nissan 240Z 'Signature Edition'

Ferrari is not in NFS anymore because they didn't want to see there cars get ruined/damaged to the extent of the NFS series, also they didn't like how EA were being bossy/mean with licences, like Porsche for example. (Gran Turismo for example would have been amazing with Porsches, but noooo, EA had the to be tthe bossy motherf*ckers they are, and take the licences away, then when they offered the licence to PD, they overpriced it. bored.gif suicidal.gif )
Infact, Gran Turismo 2 would of had an way epic car list if it hadn't been for EA:
Porsche 993 JGTC
Porsche 996 JGTC
Lamborghini Diablo JGTC
Lamborghini Diablo
McLaren F1 GTR Longtail JGTC
Mercedes CLK GTR suicidal.gif

I'm thinking of buying this game, can anyone tell me how long the game play is compared to Burnout Paradise (online and ofline). And is the game better than the previous games of NFS? The last game of the NFS series I bought was Carbon, which I found to short and to easy.

I am not big on driving or racing games so I might not get it, despite NFS MW (2005) being the exception to my rule.

Yeah, I'm baffled as to why NFS: Undergound 3 has no been made yet. That game was so much fun. And the fans have been screaming for it.

I liked Criterion's Hot Pursuit. I'd ply more of that. smile.gif

Hahahah. Laughing at how they got everyone hyped up by bringing an old name up but then make the game just another awful puke.

Criterion should stick up with the Burnout games. And when it comes to NFS.... I don't even know? Maybe whoever owns it should sell the series for someone else to make good games under the legendary name again?

Yeah, I'm baffled as to why NFS: Undergound 3 has no been made yet. That game was so much fun. And the fans have been screaming for it.

I liked Criterion's Hot Pursuit. I'd ply more of that. smile.gif

We will never see an Undeground 3. Wanna know why? Criterion is now in charge of all of the NFS games. EA Black Box made NFS U2. Unless they start making NFS again, you wont see a Underground 3 at all. Plus, whats the plot gonna be?

I thought EA Black Box were still developing NFS titles? Most recent ones were:

Need for Speed: World (Windows, 2010)
Need for Speed: The Run (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Windows, 2011)

Or has Criterion completely taken full development of NFS titles (because they're awesome)?
