I have this nokia 500 that is now dead by an interruption during a firmware update to symbian belle. There was an internet connection failure during the update and now the phone doesnt turn on. I have access to nokia phoenix, but how do you recover the dead phone? I am having trouble finding the product code. The software phoenix is telling me that it cannot be identified. Can someone send me pictures on how to do it step by step for a Nokia 500 please?

Select your region and it should tell you the product code.
I think this is what your looking for?
You may also want to contact Nokia support
Another is to head over to your local certified Nokia dealer or Nokia retail store and see what they can do about it, maybe they have some special equipment or something.

    It's L, as in Lpgunit, not I.

I'm not sure if there's a version of Nokia Service Suite that works for Belle phones, but you might give that thing a try, as I once serviced a 6233 (that had phone memory problems) with it.
