Too many noms now, you're gonna have to remove 2 films and keep one.

Sorted mate. smile.gif I didn't see how many films had been nominated, just popped in to this topic after seeing the other topic mention that you needed more films adding.

Film:Inglorious Basterds
Director:Quentin Tarantino
Reason:Great film and a great director. I'd have to say Quentin Tarantino is one of my favourite directors of all time, his talent for creating well indulged dialog that goes perfectly with the setting of the film makes it a must film to watch for any movie buff out there.

If we ever get in the position of where no-one nominates, or where there is a tiebreaker... then nominations will open again. I'll let blitz's nomination go, because it was my fault and I should have closed it before she voted. So I'll let her's stay.

So go ahead and nominate Fargo if you want, but after that please no-one nominate yet.

Film:Koyaanisqatsi: Life Out of Balance
Director:Godfrey Reggio
Reason:A truly unique film for it's time, Koyaanisqatsi took traditional filmmaking and took it for one hell of a ride. The time-lapse footage by Ron Fricke and the music by Philip Glass make for a almost overwhelming experience that has been often imitated, but never bettered. Once seen (and heard), never forgotten.

Reason:Makes you think.
Year:2011
Genre: Cold War espionage thriller

Film:The Good Shepherd
Director:Robert De Niro
Reason:Makes you think.
Year:2006
Genre: Espionage thriller

Those are my two nominations. They are not my top films but I don't really have a list in mind, those two just came to mind from what I have watched recently that I liked. A lot of my other choices have already been nominated.

Thanks for nominating!

However, "The Shawshank Redemption" and "American History X" has already been nominated smile.gif . You can think of two other films if you'd like.
