Do any of you like 50s or 60s rock? If so, name your favourite song/album or artist.

My favourite artist is Janis Joplin, and this is my favourite song:

OP: Why'd you post a 1970 cover of a 1963 song?

I find the 60s an interesting decade for music: left over rockabilly and doo wop from the late 50s, the emergence of surf rock, then a jump to psychedelic rock. Don't don't get it.

Erm. I didn't post a cover. That's the youtube video. Moan at the uploader, not me...

Hey Mafioso1, I too am a huge Janis fan. Wanna hear a rare one you may not discover unless someone points it out?

Janis with the Grateful Dead doing 'Love Light'.

If you can't wait for her to start in - she starts sometime around the 4:20 mark wink.gif

Isn't kinda odd she was getting famous singing a song you thought was from a female perspective, but it was actually written by Kris Kristopherson!? haha
