CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core 3.0ghz
RAM: DDR3 2gb
Videocard: NVIDIA GeForce GT 430
Approx. Total Memory: 2781 mb
HDD: 100gb free space, NO BAD SECTOR
OS: Windows 7 32bit Professional

Everytime when I start to play GTA IV, it's very laggy.
All drivers updated for this PC.
I used CCleaner already, Done Defrag and Used Game Booster already. Still nothing, Still laggy.
Any could help me please.

Thanks

Is that a Core 2 Duo or a old Dual Core? - either way - game runs best on 3 processors

You are going to need a better card

Also..what settings have you got the game graphic options on?

Those system requirement things are bullsh*t. Don't even bother with them.

Anyways, I have a E2200 and a GT 430. You need to upgrade your drivers for the nVidia card and also get 64bit and 4GB of RAM. GTA IV won't run too smoothly on 2GB RAM. Anyways, I tested IV on my work machine, and the results pulled up were

Statistics
Average FPS: 20.25
Duration: 37.19 sec
CPU Usage: 99%
System memory usage: 74%
Video memory usage: 47%

Graphics Settings
Video Mode: 1280 x 1024 (60 Hz)
Texture Quality: Medium
Shadow Quality: Low
Reflection Resolution: Medium
Water Quality: Medium
Texture Filter Quality: Anisotropic x4
Night Shadows: Off
View Distance: 22
Detail Distance: 11

Hardware
Microsoft Windows 8 Consumer Preview

Video Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GT 430
Video Driver version: 9.18.12.9617
Audio Adapter: Speakers (2- High Definition Audio Device)
Intel® Pentium® Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz

File ID: Benchmark.cli

I drove around and I averaged from 18-25 FPS, and its probably not going to be better then that. Being near water also can drop the FPS to about 10-15 sometimes
