textures appear in OpenIV - White object in GTAIV

As the title says, i have made a simple box and imported it in game.

Textures appear correctly when i open the .wdr model via OpenIV, but in GTAIV object appears completely white....

Any ideas of what i might have done wrong???? I guess it has to do with the material properties in 3ds max....

i have my model ready and textured, and when i use the pippete tool to select the model, after i open the material editor and select "GTA IV Material" 3ds max throws "--Unknown System Exception"... what's wrong??

Update GIMS IV, and use it's Tools -> Material editor

is "Convert Materials" option reliable and enough??

You can use the Standard material, if you don't want to specify GTA IV shaders with bump/specular/etc
