THIS MOD NEEDS SCRIPTERS!!!


The mod is back, now on it's beta 1.1. The team for now is just me, but people from the old team are welcome.

What's done so far for beta 1.1:

-> Fully stripped code by Barton Waterduck.
--> I chose this one because it's a "stripped complete".

-> Map of 1998 Liberty City Stories:
--> Portland Island
---> Safehouse
---> Hepburn const site.
---> Paulie's Revue Bar

--> Stauton Island.
--> Shoreside Vale.

-> Radar map.
--> LCS Radar straight from LCS.

-> Cars
--> Retexture originals
--> New models of LCS.

-> Toni Cipriani
--> Casual
--> Mafia
--> Antonio
--> Wiseguy
--> Lawyer

-> Mission chars.
--> Vincenzo
--> Salvatore
--> JD'O Tolle

-> Missions.

-> Weapons.

-> Radios. Except LCFR, can't be converted.

-> Some minor misc stuff.
--> Loadscreens ASI by Silent (Needs permission) + LCS Loadscreens TXD'S from PS2.

This is for GTA III, and it was started back in 2010 but my pc broke and I was lazy to re-do my work. Now I don't have my ps2 anymore but still have my LCS and VCS disk, so I restarted this mod again.

Anyone know in which CHK are the mission marker icons in LCS? And which CHK is Paulie's textures, yasterday I scrolled thru like 300 textures (from the first map textures to the last ones) and couldn't find it...

LCS Icons contains only in .DTZ File. You may to use the Stories Texture Explorer 1.9 to unpack generic textures, it's support all .chk in DTZ and GTA3PS2/PSP.IMG too.

Article about this tool * Only on RUS

Also you may download Stories RAW Editor. Unpack some sounds from LCS.

MAN!!! I can't get those cars ingame. Damn...

@solom I can't open the LVZ/IMG Files with this, theres a error..

LVZ isn't open in this version. You may to open only .DTZ and GTA3PS2/PSP.img

@solom I find out it was DTZ not LVZ, my mistake. I extracted M16 crosshair and Vincenz + Safehouse Icons.

Id agree. An LCS mod would work best on GTA LC for Vice City.

I though this, but the problem is: LC Weapons, models etc.

MP5 is in AK Slot in LC, dunno why, and all models are renamed, difficult is to get them back in place. I choose III cause it's a easy-to-mod engine and the city is the same as LCS (small changes need to be made, coords are the same).

I'm sure you could work something out. Maybe you could port the map to VC. I don't know how hard it is on the III era games. The files are the same format.

Convert every damn file of the map will be hard. But for VC there's already XEPOMAHT mod.

I mean convert III map to VC again. LCS Models can be extract with Dageron Stories Texture Explorer and Stories IMG Editor + XEPOMAHT WRLD Tool + MDL Import in 3ds max.

Small update: smaller hud, now weapon ammo etc is viewable tounge.gif Nothing special really.
