I wish there were more mods like this. It's like the lost and damned of Gta SA smile.gif . Will you be making more interesting storylines? Maybe your a bouncer, maybe a mafioso or something else with new features haha

u know ....... human nature is kinda "I WANT MORE!!!" type ! tounge.gif so i was thinking if i could drive harley devidson ...... u know ... as a story line based bike .......... like nfs mw has bmw gtr . may be Mitch CAN do that for GTA Hell On Wheel version 2. it would be awesome.

And thanks for pointing out that thermal vision error in "A Lot like Waldo", I can't believe I missed that one. I'll add that to the "known bugs" section of the front page icon14.gif

1.) To find Mean Jean (during that mission), make your way to the intersection on the main drag (near the open bar and the parked bikes). You'll see a staircase (face north) next to the buildings, going up to an alcove. There's a big sign that says "Bikefest" above the area. It may be tough to see while Snake is high on acid and there's no radar marker, but once you approach her a cutscene will ensue and you're done the mission. If she isn't up there, then let me know (if someone shoots at her she sometimes runs away).

2.) There is a marker on the townhall roof, both a red sphere where you must land and a yellow marker on your radar. I do admit however that the marker is very small, about the size of a player "blip", and can be easily missed. In retrospect I probably should have used a larger marker.

I do plan on making other mods, however I will be doing them in IV and V era from now on. I do however plan to release some addons for Hell on Wheels, including Motorcycle modding at the car shops.

As for a Harley Davidson, I tried my best not to include too many "real" vehicles, but there are harley type cruisers in the game. Originally the main character had a custom bike that was unique, but it had to be cut due to SA vehicles limits.

Well, the same gave is courrupted cause it saves with the thermal vision effect. Make sure to remove the effect if the person fails the mission. Also: The french guy isn't killable, and will not despawn if you save during the mission. When you save, you can start it again, and this time another french cop will spawn with the first one.

Make sure you look into this.

Yes I am aware thank you smile.gif I have added the thermal effect bug to the front page so others can avoid it. As for the repeating "Frenchie", it's a minor bug that shouldn't effect your ability to complete the game. If I ever tweak and re-upload the mod, I'll be sure to fix such errros icon14.gif

There is also a note on the front page advising against saving your game if you fail a mission, instead go repeat and complete the mission and then save (just to be on the safe sade, most missions are re-playable but a couple are not).

Otherwise I hope you all can enjoy the game crash-free biggrin.gif

i didn't have any problems at those mission , but now i'm facing something annoying confused.gif there is a "?" mark and also a red circle as a mission starter on the map , at las venturas , near MILLIE's home but no mission starts from there if u wanna know when the mark appeared , i'm gonna have to play the game from the beginning confused.gif and after completing two missions from the native warriors , there is still the leaf mark on the map at the same place where the military jeep is, with a red circle but no missions confused.gif and the red circle in los santos for saving game does not work.and also after completing the delivery mission that ANIMAL gave, to deliver some chemicals from SHEIKH , there are 2 more missions from SHEIK, after completing the 2 missions an "A" mark is shown on the map , there is also a red circle as a mission starter. but no mission starts from there , not at all! i waited there about four minutes but no mission starts. help please , i'm stuck as there is no other mission and none of the new missions are working sad.gif suicidal.gif

I played the whole game and i didnt get any errors or bugs except the "Alot like Waldo" one

- The "?" mark in Las Venturas means you've unlocked the Elvis side mission, but it's not working eh? The mark should have appeared after completing the final Mafia mission (but only if you choose the Revenge option). I'll look into it right away, the problem might be a misplaced sphere as there is more than one "thread" that can activate the mission. I really hope that isn't the case, as I will have to compile a new scm and upload everything again to fix it suicidal.gif

- For the native warriors, the marker should dissapear after the second mission. I don't remember having an issue with that in my playtesting, but I'll go through and check it out again. Maybe there is a bug of some sort in the mission cleanup.

- The savegame in the los santos trailer park doesn't work, but honestly I don't even know why it's there I don't remember adding it lol
I'll see what I can do about that too.

- Strange, the "A" (Adolf Swartzenhaggen) marker shouldn't pop up until you've completed both the missions "Deal Breaker" and "Beer Run". I'll check the code, maybe I accidentally have it show up too early mercie_blink.gif

Please do me a favor and check your radar, is there a marker at the Hilltop Farm north of Los Santos? It's a red rose with white wings . If that marker didn't show up after Bikefest, then that's a major issue cry.gif If it is there though, try doing those missions and then return to the "A" marker, let me know how it turns out smile.gif

By the way, if you'll do fixes in external scripts and missions (not MAIN section), you won't have to tell people to start new game, old saves will still work smile.gif

Wow, thanks, it works fine and without crashes (some of them sure appearing by missions, but that's fine).

And I have a thing I did for myself but I think that more cloudy weathers and dark atmosphere will be very urgent for this mod, so you can use it free in your mod, if you like it. Download

Here's a pic of sunny weather (looks like cloudy because I made all skies more grayish, but actually i's a sunny weather) I made all weathers more darker and replaced some of them to cloudy:

But sadly, making NEW missions makes the save impossible to load (DEFINE MISSION @LABEL is actually compiled at the beginning).

By the way - do you have something like a source code of your main.scm (NOT just decompiled SCM)? I would be willing to help with fixing some bugs sometime. I haven't played the mod, but I feel it is nice (at least it's 100% SCM made, not DYOM; why the hell DYOM mission won Best Mission MOD award this year???) and would be worth supporting smile.gif

Tried it few months ago, and I can say it's the second good mission mod I played (first one was Great Theft Car, if you want to know). The missions are awesome, and the biker atmosphere makes everything great. Also, I liked the Bikefest a lot. Great work. icon14.gif

Glad to get some feedback about the game itself, and I gotta say Bikefest was one of my favorite parts to make biggrin.gif

@ SilentPL : Damn, well even if I can't add missions it's still a good thing to know.

And any help would be awesome, I'll see what I can do with the scm to get you source code (I pretty much always coded in sannybuilder). If you can fix any of it you'd be a better man than I lol, also a big issue was the fact I had to remove a huge amount of external scripts, however I believe I can add them back in and still get it to work if I had help from someone who understood the coding a little better. Anything you could do, I would really appreciate icon14.gif

You could do a "DLC", as SA planned to have (which is the reason by when adding a script and stuff in a folder of MPACK in the GTA San Andreas User Files folder, it shows you a choice of what to play, but i bet you already know that.)
So you could just add a DLC for the mod. So after the story is complete, you can add later missions after, as like a aftermath.
But if you mean in the middle of the story, then you're pretty much screwed in the save department tounge.gif

I'm also in the process of fixing the minor bugs, such as the Elvis mission sphere that doesn't work : /

VERSION 1.2 IS AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD NOW!

The link(s) on the front page have been updated, changes include:

- Fixed the bug that made the Elvis mission sphere un-enterable
- Fixed the bug that made burning down the bar in "Infiltrator" impossible
- Fixed the bug in which certain icons wouldn't disappear after the mission
- Updated the Darkel mission "Newsworthy"
- Fixed other minor errors
- Increased game stability

This mod is pretty good. I remember playing it, it was fun but I stopped because I couldn't do any missions(bug)
It's good to see you have still worked on it, I'll give it another go soon.

Maybe do a Stret Racing story next? Or San Andreas Stories? Haha good luck

I appreciate your work a lot, man! Thanks for giving such a cool mod to us!
Unfortunately I couldn't get far. The second mission (casino) is bugged. Snake just keeps standing still & shooting, I can't move him anymore.

There are still some bugs like you won't be able to save at Los santos after level HIDE & GO SHEIKH.
The MAFIA Mission marker does not go after the level payback.But still I like this mod very much but remove the bugs.

@ at72 : Sorry to hear that your having trouble, I must say that's the first time I've heard of that particular bug. I've uploaded a savegame file just past the second mission, it should work as a temporary fix for you. You can find the file here (just replace the savegame file in your Documents/San Andreas user files):

You can also check out stuff in the mission you may have missed (if anything) here:

EDIT: I've tested the mod and the mission works on my computer (just confirmed on another), so I'm not sure the issue. I assume you don't have any cleo libraries installed (there's issues with CLEO and HoW). Script seems okay, but I'll look into it further and see what I can do.
