Released date (BETA 1): Summer Holidays (2012)



BETA 1 Welcome to Compton

-Compton Map
-New Timecycle
-New Cars
-Cripz & Bloodz
-New weapons


Description:

We will back in year 1995 when everything begun!
Compton home of gangs like: Crips & Bloods!
This mod will take whole Compton to San Andreas!
Its focuses on gang wars between Crips and Bloods!
Will be 2 releases: BETA 1 Welcome to Compton and BETA 2 Straight Outta Compton!!
(After release BETA 2 we can make RAGE Compton for GTAIV)!

In GTA SA, Ganton is the counterpart of Compton. That is, Compton is a city in California, on which Ganton of San Andreas is based on.

What parts did you 3d model your self and what models did you use from other sources? I can tell the vehicles and peds are made by someone else, are those going to be in the mod? Do you have permission from the original creators to use them?
Do you have experience putting maps into SA? Do you have main.scm scripting skill to make the main for this TC?(i'm not talking about missions, just the basic main) Are you able to model the map from scratch instead of using models made by CityScape?
Do you have the ability to make vehicle and ped and boat paths for this TC? Are you going to add more general info about the TC? (every other mod has info about the development of it and the creators skill levels)
Do you have better textures? Those map textures look like default and too flat and bland. Why have you placed untextured objects inside the ground?
Don't use those cars in the pictures because those vehicles are all untextured and make it look bad. Do you have experience with 3dsmax? Do you know what NVC is? Do you know what day+night vertex coloring is? Are you able to script missions in SannyBuilder?
Why didn't you give all of this info when you post the mod? You need to give as much info as possible so people know what this mod will be like. The map has gaps where grass is visible and other bugs.

Why are you using CityScape when it makes such a bad quality map? I might sound hostile but i'm just trying to improve your mod. icon14.gif

With main.scm I know a little bit!
I will add more general info!
Yes is seen map have bugs! (I will fix it)
Im using CityScape becouse is bassicly mapper!! ( I can do map in AutoCad)
Yes, I have ability to make peds,cars, etc...
Yes, I have better textures!! (Better textures will be in BETA 2 release)

Becouse CityScape cannot load that textures!!

Shame, it will look worse then then those renders, no dynamic shadows. It will look even more dull if you don't add vertex color.

In rage it would even look better then those renders.

Map is good but nontextured cars and peds ruins this screens...
