Path code is fixed. btw, VC has life in the right places.

this is very good news X-seti for modders - to bring the whole of the gta engine alive all map sections can have life - this has been frustrating me for a very long time... it was so good when the limits were first opened - now paths for car + people

I have temp removed the mod, the generic.txd that I forgot to remove shouldn't be in there.

There was 8 textures that was given to me by TonyM who did not have the right to do so as the texture did not belong to him.

I do try and get permission where possible, but in this case the Real Auther refuses to reply.

So I'll remove the offending files anyway!

Update soon.

SA wouldnt be able to handle the data load just yet- given todays comp specs, however this will change in time as computer hardware gets faster.

5 years ago, running the VC version would have been hard.

Only now some poeple can run this mod at a decent speed.

This is a quick update for GTASOLbeta 59.1.

Just download this update and run it in your GTA MOD folder, Some machines you may need you to choose the file path.

I am thinking of making a mini version of this project.

The aim really is to make a multiplayer map, from Mainland liberty.

This map is almost the same size almost as the original VC, no limits would need to be changed.

Paths wouldnt be a problem at all, because I'd beable to use Steve M's VC paths tool, then port those paths back to SOL.

Just an idea as I am working on the paths anyway for GTASOL52.0

Edit; I should beable to export what I need within a day. smile.gif

EDIT: but sometimes crashes when I load saved game

He's working on those the beach but thanks for pointing out the other bugs =P

Although the water is like that due to water not having any cuts in it, the water is everywhere, it'll be changed later when it's properly editable.

Oh and the tunnel.. check where it used to come out in VC.

Quick update, this will fix the following.

Oct 25,2009 - Beta 51.9b

1. Vegas Lights, Mll Lighting effects at night.
2. Added water level to places in countryn.ipl
3. There was something else, but this has escaped me (Price you pay for getting old)
4. Garage doors at sunshine autos.

If you have downloaded the update from GTAGarage GTASOL51.9a, then your need to download and install this update GTASOL51.9b.

If you havent downloaded any other updates, then this file along will update the game to GTASOL51.9b.

I'll have to invent ways to tell why there is water flooding everywhere, it's kinda telling a story to what could happen to all of us in the real would, 10 years from now.

How bad would it be to edit some of those out, because it might not be possible to fix the water tables, the way we want them.
Or mod the water in to those areas in a different way so it looks the part.

The army base could become a nuclear plant (cooling tank for the rods)

The problem before was we had hardly any water in the mod, it seems either we have water or not.

Given there isnt a way to really edit the water table in the exe or waterpro.dat file without a tool as there isn't one.

The road marked out, thats an IDE draw distance issue, anything over 299 draw units and the object is not solid.

Well i am a fan of this mod, and i will use it of course when paths will be done *when ?* and when bugs will be fixed.

This mod it's just AMAZING ! I wait for updates (especially pedstrains and car traffic). But...
My game always crash when i fly (with helicopter) to los santos (near the highest building).
Why tunnels are closed? I can see, under ocean tunnels are fully complete.

As for crashing, we know its stable, however not every comp is the same, what might work for one person may not work for the next, and we are using an old engine, being push way beyond its limits.

Hmm there's a big at the LV airport, i crash anytime i go near it confused.gif and I'm also crashing after about.. 15 mins of playing, it might be a memory leak but i'm not sure

also next to sunshine auto's where you've got the big factory like thing, you've accidentally moved the land about a foot towards the airport.
