I guess it is, but CoD pretty much copied it like the worthless sacks of sh*t they are lol.gif

There are all those games that are just copies of other games.
Like COD, SR1-2, anything by Gameloft, and almost every indie game.

One Year Anniversary.

Prologue:

One year ago today we celebrated our first year of activity. Today we mark one more year down on the calender. However today we also look back at this years past and see what we have lost and what we had gained. In a nutshell we were the most feared and respected mafia on GTA IV, many will publicly deny it but it was true. Things were going great, steady stream of activity, solid group of members, the vast amount of wars some might considered that a good thing, but was it all what we really wanted? As we learned some wanted it more than others, whereas others would have been happy and perfectly content with less. So what happened? A definite change in ideology and thinking along with business models and priorities.

One Year Ago Today:

Given the fact it was our first years anniversary we looked back at what was accomplished and then set our sights upon what was to come. Yet not everything was what it had seemed. There was a foul stench that filled the room, the smell of a rebellion brewing however still too faint to notice. At this time there was a multi-family Commission one of which we neglected to have any association of but still managed to sneak our way into the controlling aspect of it. The small rebel force inside BCF had thought it a great idea to get in bed with this "Commission" yet what they later learned as it all began to fall apart was it was no more than a house of cards. They were so far deep that when the leaking ship began to sink they had no choice but to go down with it. So what happened in between that time? Many of whom who we thought we could trust betrayed us, the rebellion had begun. First stage proposing an ultimatum to Don Aroldo Bianco where he then challenged his now opposing Underboss Doc Faustino to run the family for one month, Doc was hesitant upon the idea but after being coasted into the idea by his conspirators he then jumped on the opportunity. To Aroldo it was fairly comical yet he was also interested in seeing what would happen and how well young Doc would do in the position. Aroldo didn't think Doc would last with the position for the time allotted and he was correct, two weeks later Doc folded and turned over his cards and turn to plan B which was a full scale succession from BCF. Doc and his fellow rebellions left to form their own crew on the other side of Liberty City, leaving Aroldo and what few members he had left to slowly phase out and die. Doc obviously didn't know Aroldo as well as he thought he did, Aroldo is stubborn and arrogant and wont just keel over and die; he persevered and pushed on now with his one true Underboss Pazzo Sangue at his side leading again.

QUOTE
Bianco Family - Exodus:

The family grew at an extreme rate. Larger and faster than Aroldo could have ever imagined, the Biancos soon became the largest family in all of Liberty City. Leaders and representatives from other families and organizations throughout the city approached Aroldo offering partnerships and other such business deals. Aroldo was not interested in the affairs of any other gang in Liberty City except his own, in turn Aroldo placed the death order of all those who came to them with said business propositions. Aroldo felt that eliminating any possible competition and or weakening them would give him the upper hand, which it did. Because of the strength held by the Biancos they could do whatever they wanted without any repercussions from any other families or the Commission. The Biancos however never stepped out of there claimed territory of Alderney and the few neighborhoods in Algonquin. The idea was to remain small as possible, staying close together in case anything did happen the Bianco name would still be secure and there reputation would not be lost. Unfortunately Doc had a different vision in mind. He wanted to take over the entire city no matter the cost. He asked Aroldo if he could step into the Commission and see how he could overthrow it from within, at the start it worked out very well but in time the families involved with the Commission went to war with each other. It was split down the middle and soon it ripped itself apart, in a way that came as an advantage to the Biancos seeing as how they never wanted anything to do with Commission. With the war-torn Commission each family became an easy target for Doc to dismantle. His success in destroying the Commission lead him to seeking his way over to Broker, the home of one of the families that was in the Commission. He proceeded to seek out the “heavy hitters” in the family, soon turning the Underboss and Consigliere against the families Don and bringing them into the Biancos as associates.

It didn’t stop there; Doc asked Aroldo’s permission if he could start a crew within the family along with setting up operations in Broker and Bohan. Unknowingly to Aroldo Doc had become power hungry. He got a very simple taste during his campaign against the Commission and he wanted more. Soon Doc and Aroldo’s ideology changed. Doc wanted to conquer the entire city whereas Aroldo only ever wanted to keep his small piece which was all the shipping and construction unions in Alderney along with the gambling rackets in Western Algonquin. Because of this Doc pressured Aroldo into making him the Underboss while setting Pazzo aside to become Aroldo’s personal bodyguard and driver. Pazzo was fine with the change however his suspicions of Docs true intentions grew. With Doc in-charge of his own crew he began to grow away from Aroldo and Pazzo, taking a few Capos and Soldiers with him, plus a handful of new associates. The family then became split in two. With Docs rising power and influence Aroldo then challenged him to take over running the family for a trial period. To see if he really had what it takes to run a family. Doc jumped on the challenge, Aroldo kept a close eye on Doc by taking over the Underboss position.

A few weeks after Doc had taken over as “Acting-Don” his judgement became unclear. Stressed with the duties and responsibilities of running a family, he let people get the best of him by placing ideas in his head. Members of his crew proposed the idea of a “revolution”. Not only was this in change of leadership but also separating themselves from the Bianco family all together. Doc fell upon the pressure given to him by his crew members and then gave the order.

On a very gray afternoon the revolution began. One of the new associates asked Aroldo to help him complete a job that was assigned to him by Doc, unsuspecting to Aroldo it was a trap. They traveled to WestDyke Beach; this is where they were to ‘take care of’ the target. After eliminating the mark the associate then turned a gun onto Aroldo while his back was turned. Aroldo was then shot by 12gauge buckshot, sending him into the sand amongst the rocks, leaving him for dead. However the gunman did not check to see if Aroldo was dead or not. The shot was to his back and left side, he bled out for a few hours until his body was discovered by a local fisherman. Aroldo was then rushed to WestDyke Memorial Hospital. His whereabouts unknown to many, believed to be dead by the traitors.

When awakening Aroldo was then given the news as to what happened, learning that Doc had taken half of the family. The oath that was sworn by them when becoming ‘made’ had been broken. Aroldo didn’t let the thought of the traitors cloud his judgement, in fact he focused on rebuilding his family. Even though much of their power and muscle had been lost the Bianco name still never the less remained the same. The plan set out by Aroldo by keeping the business close together paid off by the revolution being almost harmless. The only thing that was affected was trust and love he had for those who betrayed him being lost. He swore no vengeance because of the oath they all had sworn when becoming ‘made’ will soon have its toll on the traitors. Now he can truly focus on what he always wanted to family to be.

After Succession:

Shortly after the revolt the Biancos drifted back into the heart of Alderney and it's underworld as it's controlling entity. Now no longer having to deal with commissions, other families and dead weight members they could now truly grow and prosper into what they originally wanted to be. There was no longer unnecessary disputes over nothing, no more lies, no more sneaking around and hiding from others or even those in your own family. When the rebellion struck it took with them most if not all the liars and cheats along with the dead weight, all that was left to Aroldo and Pazzo were the true stand-up guys and men of honour. In fact the revolt was more beneficial to Aroldo and the other Biancos than it was to the rebels. What happened next was Docs life line of the commission and it's connections quickly feel apart, all the other families either had civil wars or disbanded all together and Doc was left with a crew of liars and snakes who didn't even trust each other. That quickly rose into multiple problems within their crew, the tension built up for months until it exploded; few high and mid level members left, most of the low level guys went into hiding, not many others in Liberty City would even deal with them given their previous history over in Alderney. They became outcasts in a sense. Those who left them bounced around LC for a while doing their own thing but deep down they all wished things didn't go the way that they had gone. Later on some came to Aroldo seeking forgiveness for theirs sins and others either went down South or out West to start over.

Goodfellas:

Almost immediately after the revolt it was back to work. Aroldo had pushed the recent turn of events to the side and carried on. With Pazzo Sangue at his side the only thing to do now was to rebuild the family like they had already done before, but now far more wiser they knew exactly what it is that they wanted to gain. There was to be no more treachery, only the goodfellas which then made membership very limited to a select few. Most crews falter at the slightest glimpse of low membership however the Biancos welcomed it as it had proven to be more beneficial by making them stronger and closer than anything else, strength through unity.

As the months began to pass the Biancos became more private and reserved and ultimately were a secret society which began the Biancos longest peacetime in the course of their entire history. Not many knew the state in which they were in and they liked it that way, people stayed out of their way. Many thought they had long since died out but they were well alive and kicking. Like a dust ball there was sudden recession within the Liberty City underworld, families and other crews were all at war with each other resulting in everyone being killed off along with regime changes and revolts which was quickly resolved as crews began to collapse. Only a handful of crews still existed but were in tatters, the strength that many crews had previously possessed was no more than a figment of their imagination as the game had changed they neglected to move with the times.

The Western Sky:

With the Commission gone along with everyone else who had previously opposed the Biancos their business interests in Alderney and Liberty City as a whole were secure. Aroldo and Pazzo had rebuilt the family to the state of sustainability with the help of their new Consigliere Big Doug who was only a soldier at the time of the revolt, and their newest Caporegime Michael Carini. The idea never crossed the minds of Aroldo or Pazzo but there was no longer anything for them in LC; no one to be killed, no new business venture, no war to be fought. Therefore they began making preparations to further expand their business in the warm and sunny West Coast of San Andreas. So Aroldo tasked Doug and Michael to setting up shop out West, he gave them a briefcase of cash and sent them on their way. They quickly learned that the rules were different in SA, there was a different breed of criminal. Most of the gangs were ghetto gang-bangers and junkies whereas the hacks are corrupt and can't be bought, and the government is the biggest group of liars and cheats in the entire state. It was quite literally still the Wild West. Setting up in SA proved to be a lot more challenging than they had previously thought, nonetheless they were in it for "the long haul". Unlike Liberty City simple extortion didn't work, it was old school, armed robbery and smuggling.

It wasn't long after Doug and Mikes rough start in San Andreas did things start to go their way. Soon they were making more money than they knew what to do with. This growing success reached back home and caught the attention of Aroldo and Pazzo, the two then got on a plane and headed out West to see the business first hand. Just like Doug and Mike at first it was difficult to adapt to the culture and most of all the climate. To Aroldo San Andreas proposed a great opportunity in distributing arms given it's vast and violent gang scene weapons were always in demand. Pazzo on the other hand invested much of his time in construction and the distribution of raw materials with the help of one of the new soldiers Nathan Pontanello. A decent sized and profitable crew had emerged, dealing in weapons, raw materials, boosting trucks along with real estate schemes of buying up low priced housing and selling them for triple to turn a profit. All of this was being run out of a club that they had opened up in San Fierro, low key and under the radar. In the time they had spent in San Andreas they had no wars as they were no more than suppliers; no need for them to get involved with their clients business, nor did they care as long as they kept spending money with them. For the Biancos San Andreas was not about control it was about making money and setting up new pipelines for their interests in Liberty City such as import/export.

Life and Liberty:

As the months in San Andreas began to pass it was felt long over due that they take a trip back to Liberty City to check up on things. After arriving at Francis International and making their way to Alderney they had noticed that things in Liberty City had changed, not physical change but rather the atmosphere. There were many new crews bouncing around. Many of them lacked commitment and honour. In the time they were back most of the new crews had crumbled or will eventually fall apart. Things certainly were not like they were when the Biancos had left to San Andreas. Before they left there was a new kid on the block every other week who boasted about being the next big thing, shortly after he was never seen from or heard of again. Aside from the idiocy of the new crews of Liberty City nothing else had changed, no one individual or crew had more power or control than any other, it was all static, people had fought but nothing was ever gained, only loss. A surprising revelation to Aroldo and many others was the fact that they were no longer fighting anyone, no one was trying to cause any problems. Deep down Aroldo missed it all, being back in LC reminded him of how much he had missed it yet he was also relieved that he wasn't looking over his shoulder everywhere he went, that didn't mean he had his guard down though. Still watching and waiting, not only Aroldo but Pazzo and the rest of the Biancos. But in the mean time they enjoyed the peace of mind because they knew what may lie ahead for them in either Liberty City or San Andreas.

The Future:

So what lies ahead for the Bianco Crime Famiglia? We've survived where we should have fallen, crawled out of the burnt rubble and rebuilt ourselves on an already strong and firm foundation. What should have killed us only made us stronger. The vision in which Aroldo and Pazzo had originally sought for the course of BCF has been achieved. We have been to the top, enjoyed the view and in many ways are still there; never did we lose doubt, held true to our values and neglected to give up. Others had given up and later dismantled due to treachery, lies, and betrayal. And here we stand. Let us look to the future prospects which may lie ahead, the possibilities of San Andreas and beyond. Now let us embark on another great journey so we can once again look back at this day another year from now and remember all the great times that were had. Of all that was gained and reflect on what may have been lost.

9/10 on the anniversary post. There was one self serving lie but honestly (no sarcasm) I'm fine with it. The 'Exodus' part is the accurate version, the part in the quote. As for all the other stuff I don't know what happened on SAMP but I am overjoyed that you guys made it work. I also have some news that you guys may enjoy, I'll let Artfull know soon! Happy anniversary. I'm far past the BS and have love in my heart for all of you. Also thanks Rambo, Artfull and Midevl for party chilling with me lately, it's been real. Oh, and ger ready! Our anniversary is next. Ours will be focused more on last year's forum war.

Also in my eyes there are the external rules and the forum rules. So it counts here.

Talked to Pazzo a bit today on SAMP, seems like he's rolling in the money.

Anyways, I guess now I'm a Grove Street OG Shotcaller on GTAF.

And, I bought an FBI Rancher. biggrin.gif

EDIT: Also, I wanna start an RDR gang with some of the people from GTAF, I was wondering if any of you guys would be ineterested. I know Artful might, we almost made something over the summer together.

As for the whole RDR thing it doesn't excite me that much, it's a fun and cool game and all but don't really spend all that much time on it.

Yeah, I wanted to start up justa group where we could just chill on there since it's a game that doesn't have very many modders on it.

But yeah, I wanted to start something based in Blackwater.

So yeah, I'm gonna try to get back into posting on the forums a bit more often since I can't really get on SAMP because I have absolutely no long lengths of free time until like late April.

Not sure if the new V pictures have been discussed but the fact that we have sharks and submarines is just so goddamn exciting. We gotta get together and just go hunting them if possible... or get a few submarines and exploring the ocean.

By the way, is this Diablo Genovese guy serious?
