Hi People.
I need new 3d modeling software sad.gif .
google sketchup sucks mad.gif . and 3ds max is $3,900, seriously What the f*ck autodesk?! right now im pretty annoyed because their are no good cheap 3d modelling software cryani.gif . so any help is apreciated.

Try Blender.
Obviously 3Ds Max is intended for professionals at such a price-point. If you intend to stay legal, Blender is your best choice.

if you get plenty of good add ons for sketchup you can do what u want on it lol.gif

I can't say which one to use, although I have heard Blender is good.
One thing you can do to find others, go to http://alternativeto.net/ in the search type "3DS Max" (minus the quotes), or any other product you might be looking for, and it'll show you a list of alternatives and show if it's free, commercial or whatever

And if you are 3D modeling Student then there is LEGAL way to get Autodesk Softwere's .

I spent years in Blender and recommend it. It so useful, I can't believe it is free.

If you know your basics around 3dsmax then blender should be easy to pick right up with.

You can allways try to free version of 3DMAX.... GMAX.
