Which are the Launch parameters that IVSALauncher.exe uses? I want to make a working crack and supported for IV:SA based on Razor's one.

Razors crack works with IV:SA (I use it since I dont like my CD drive being used by a game I rarely play when I have other CDs I use)
 
*Note... I bought GTA IV so yea I dont endorse Illegally obtaining it
 
 
I lost the serial Key, so i use the crack. If i Launch with razor crack (LaunchGTAIV.exe), it doesnt open, i tried with compatibility mode.
If i use IVSALaunch.exe, it says that rockstar club not bypassed and never loads.
 
PS: My country (Ecuador) doesn't care about piracy, altough i found that in a cruel way.
PS2: If you can give me the serial by MP i will be so thankful
 
Edit: Also, i selected Xliveless and Diselected Dsound and GWFL Protection Disable or Enable, i dont remember, i remember that i diselected both.
Make sure the 1911.dll is in the folder aswell as the crack and launchgtaiv.exe and gtaiv.exe are ran as an administrator. .. also on win8 do the full compatibility scan
 
 
1911.dll is in the folder, LaunchGTAIV.exe and GTAIV.exe are in the folder and running as admin. I use Windows 7. Also, its now giving me an error about MSVCR100.dll _invalid_parameter_noinfo_noreturn
never had that problem... runs on vista/8.1 really well... try re install?

 

Re-Install? Like 10 times.

Hello. I have a problem with this game...I have install gta IV 1.0.7.0 then I install gta iv san andreas. Ok, when i entering in any vehicle game has been crashed.

What in the problem? I tried to reinstall but nothing change.

 

 

 

 

L.E I found the problem. Is the radio. I can drive any vehicle whitout radio. How I can solve this problem?

Remove radio.asi file from main directory

Thank you. Working, now but...The game has not responding after 5-10 min...I must close with task manager.

Can someone help me i downloaded the ped addon but it takes forever to download but when it finish it download download can someone give me the manual installation folder so i can download the ped addon

I had lots of ideas for beta 4, mainly map inprovements. But, it's over now. I don't have the time\will for it, and there isn't really anybody else that would continue this mod.

I know I probsbly can't do much as I vaguely know how to work the rage engine but I can do some audio stuff like ped audio or so forth until I learn more about the rage engine... also I have a few mission ideas specifically for this mod (I was raised in californias gang culture so yea....)

that's the thing... ain't too many modders that are active anymore... especially on the rage engine...

well while I can't say if IV modding itself is dead or not... I can say that working alone is a viable yet time consuming solution... I know sites like gta4-mods and so forth have active communities... but meh

would love to see little fixes with this if you were up to it gtarandom, I absolutely loved this mod and gta v is good in its own way but I love the state of san andreas. you dont need to go full blown modding again but a fix here and ther every so often would be cool, or little concepts that YOU would have liked to see in this mod.

Well, i had some other mod planned(functional amusement park in LC) but i kept failing. Like i said in my previous post, i really don't know if i should be modding at all... such tough situation for me right now

 

I know this is the wrong attitude of me, but it's just how i am...

Finally found my GTA IV Serial! But here's a new problem.

 

I Re-Installed GTA 4 to activate properly the game. Everything fine.

 

Then i Installed GTA IV:SA in Recommended Settings. But now i Got an Error that xlive.dll could not be found/cant find necessary information on xlive.dll

 

 

When i click accept, xlive.dll is not avaivable is repliced with something that could not find information on xlive.dll.

 

I have LEGAL copy, i Installed it in Recommended setting. i also tried slecting custom and making sure xliveless and Simple Native Trainer are disabled, and GFWL Protection disable is enabled and DSound also enabled.

 

I can install the game with xliveless only. First time i loaded it, crash with xliveless. Then updated the game (Add-Ons tab) and it worked

 

 

Help?

GTA IV 1.0.7.0. I can't update the GTA IV:SA, as the error mentioned before appears IN the launcher.

 

I'm can only play with xliveless.

I Identified the problem. So this is the problem:

 

Like 2 months before I re-installed GTA IV. So I installed all the components. I activated and launched GTA IV. GFWL offered me a update but I skipped it (because I tought it was a xlive.dll update). Then I made a title update manually. But after making that title update manually (With titleupdate.exe) the game stopped launching (Launcher worked, but no GTAIV.exe running.) Then I found this solution of installing GFWL Market place.

 

THAT was the Problem. Marketplace comed with some modifyed xlive.dll that xliveprotectdisabler didn't recognized. Then I found out also that the update prompted by GFWL in GTA IV was only a proper title update plus a little xlive.dll (compatible with that script). Now its working properly IV:SA. I already played IV:SA:MP

I made 3 new videos showing IV:SA with 3 major SA re-texture pack mods(SRT3, HRT 1.3 and RoSA 1.0 - 1.5(all textures from these versions combined :D) :

Are you by chance going to release the texture mods converted to ivsa, or is there a (fairly) easy way to convert them ourselves?

Well, the author of SRT doesn't allow it to be released so i am not really in a position to do so and to be honest i think that the authors ot the other 2 re-texture packs are as reluctant for releasing them as the SRT author.

 

I also don't want to release any of these re-texture packs because it's just a pain in the ass.

 

 

And besides, it's fairly easy to do all of the setup needed by yourself, here are the instructions that you posted(2nd post in that forum topic), the same proccess is done for the other 2 re-texture packs.

JulioNIB's new bike mod in IV:SA :colgate:

 

 

I know my bike skills are terrible. I really need to work on them lol

 

Anyways to get the script to work for IV:SA you have to activate beauty.img. The bike animations will not work without that IMG file active with the pedal files from the mod package.

 

1) add beauty.img to your IV:SA installation if it's not present. (it wasn't present in mine, i think the installer deletes it)

2) Open OpenIV and add the pedal files from the mod package (folder labeled "to beauty.img") to beauty.img.

3) activate beauty.IMG in images_sa_IVSA3SP.

 

This is how the text looks in my images_sa_IVSA3SP.

Did anyone ever convert V peds (gangs) to IV?

 

I looked around but all I can find is V to SA ped conversions.

You're telling me my effort for Gang Wars on IV:SA was a waste?

actually to be fair I didn't do much of the gang wars in IV:SA other than the vagos one and the grove st ballas one. At the moment it seems like more of a horde mode... I'm not saying it was a waste, but it could be a bit cleaned up

But the gangs could be a bit more varried..

You only have vagos, ballas, and grove... needs the normal SA gangs aswell as a few V gangs and some customs (Flats reimagined as a SF black gang, same with a gang called Killer Hills)
