I finished adding all the photos I took so far. I'll probably take a new batch in the afternoon.
Then I'll probably stop and start looking for IRL matches.
Excellent stuff. Thanks Fido.
It gets a bit tedious after a while, but I think it's worth doing though.
The "unidentified" feature is working really well. If we find something new, all we have to do is add the address & IRL photo & it automatically flicks over to the "identified" map.
I've already taken pics of the Sth Los Santos houses & shops, but they're on my PC thats getting repaired.
It should be back soon & hopefully the pics are still on the hard-drive, so don't worry about doing that area.
If the pics have been lost, I'll go back in & re-photograph that area. That's my punishment for not backing up my files.
I've still got images of all the Sandy Shores, Grapeseed & Paleto Bay houses & shops, so I'll stick them on the map over the next few days.
Btw, I re-found (if that's a word) those buildings from Mirror Park plus another bonus one.
That came from simply looking at the unidentified map. It helps to jog your memory & focus your attention a bit.
I'm currently putting together the pictures & will post them soon, but in the meantime, what do you think of this?
The in-game brick wall is a bit more rustic than the real life one, but I've had a pretty good search of the roads in the Joshua Tree National Park & that's the only sealed road I could find that has that distinctive loop.
It's Salton View Rd in the JTNP if you want to check it out. You can just make out the Salton Sea in the background.
The actual road is called Keys View Rd. I think Salton View Rd is just the loop bit.
It seems to be called both names, so I'm not 100% sure.
Here's the co-ordinates & satellite image if anyone wants to have a look.
