Judging by the screenies, LS seems smaller than LC.

ii - I didnt bring the subject up again - just responding to other conjecture.

Now do one .

Mick - everything that can be mapped - has been - its inevitable that the size of the city till come up once the fact that no one area of the city is that far from anywhere else. Or is it taboo to mention this ?

Does this help?  It's kinda in the area with all of the skyscrapers.

edit: didn't the first trailer begin in the building left to the crane?  Wait, never mind.  It seems as if this screenshot is right between the crane and the group of skyscrapers.  Is the group of skyscrapers considered downtown?

Crane or Cranes ?

Is it Century City on the left?

Yes. Fox Plaza is that tall building almost directly above Franklin.

But in this picture, Century City is behind buildings of Koreatown (Little Seoul)

As you can see, people still find out things. Right when you say there was anything to point out.

It just show once again that you don t have anything to do here.

You want to speak about los santos size : there is a thread about it. Now go away

You're not taking into consideration the fact that the draw distance has been improved by miles. Literally.

This topic is going downhill very fast, so I suggest anyone that wants to post about the size of Los Santos does not bother coming into this topic anymore.

If you want to talk about size, use the Los Santos Size topic.

If you want to talk about locations, buildings etc of the map, then continue in this one.

With 3 new trailers next week, this topic will be busy with new discussion, so please stop ruining it.

Simple.

Internet - that is only relevant for far off hills not for buildings / topography in plain site no more than a mile from the camera POV.

Just saw Kirsty's msg.

It looks to be a Golf Course, but then again a Baseball Field seems more likely seen as there's already a Golf Course near it.

This image is amazing. Just look how far away the observatory is from the W. Hollywood building while in the second picture it always looked like the W.H. building is right at the foothills of the observatory mountain. Funny how misleading the perspective can be.

Yeah the observatory is very high up, higher than the skyscrapers I think. smile.gif

That 'golf course' in the Trevor pic could just be where some grass borders the of the dirt that he's driving on, but it does look well looked after.

Funny to see how everything gets analysed over and over again in this thread. People thinking they found something new while someone else already posted that same thing months ago. I'm not hating, keep up the good work.

Where is Grapeseed and why does people think its near the windmill park?

And where is it based of? Grapevine? I was looking at Salton Sea in Google Maps and I found out that there is large farmlands both South and North to Salton sea: http://goo.gl/maps/UPyDX

Yeah I was actually thinking that as well. After all, the Salton sea is simply the runoff of the farmlands

The picture from the dam shows the most accurate view of the distance between the building and observatory which is why I posted it. With that in mind, what point are you trying to make?

Who else thinks this will be the damn best GTA map to date? It's the dream map I've always wanted. I thought San Andreas was good back in the day but my god, this time around, the mountains and everything are so much more life like and detailed. I'm sorry I don't have much to add to the thread but I love watching you guys come up with ideas. Thanks so much for making this wait so much more interesting. You guys are very smart.

Why did you highlight that area in the yellow? Isn't that below the observatory?
