You don't think these are the same?
I been looking at these two screenshots again comparing these mountains and I really don't think they are the same at all
If I look at the up and down sloping pattern, then yes I can see a resemblance
But when I look at the size of each mountain and compare to each other and also compare to surrounding environment, I see no resemblance at all
In first screenshot, if we label them A, B an C from left to right.
Mountain B appears considerably larger than mountain A, with mountain C being MUCH larger than A or B.
Mountain C is so much larger than mountain B, both in height and volume.
In second screenshot, if we label them A,B and C from left to right.
Mountain A is larger than B and B larger than C, but the difference in size is not the same as in first screenshot.
Also in the second screenshot I look at the radio telescopes, they seem to be at a similar distance away, so I compare the size of those telescopes with the mountains.
In the first screenshot look at the size of the "town" compared to mountain C.
If we were to take the telescopes and put them inside the town I think they would appear much smaller compared to mountain C than they do in the second screenshot
In the second screenshot, I think we can see the base of the triangular mountain, the one we see from various city screenshots and also from trailer 1 (muscle car and hookers, mountain in background)
In the first screenshot I do not think that triangular mountain is one of the mountains in the foreground, but the one we can see towards top left of screenshot.
Triangular mountain is a desert mountain, we know it is in the desert because we know desert is North of Los Santos.
The mountains in foreground of first screenshot are not desert mountains. They are the same type of mountains we see in various screenshots such as parachute and train, and they have the rive flowing through them.
I think these are definitely the same mountains:
If this is correct (and it looks likely), then the Alamo Sea runs east-west, as has been depicted in most maps, yet has a river mouth at the northern bank. Most maps so far have shown two mouths at the western end of the sea.
However, there is serious distortion of the field of view in the chopper screenshot. It shows the Sea as being rather narrow. Take note of the large mountains on the other side of the sea in the shot. Where are they in the daylight screen (with the bridge)?
