Thats a lie man, i mean my pc can run IV with heavy ENB
And it wont struggle

But if i ever try sets like creatorcreaturespore, or any "awesome" looking
Sa will lagg as hell
The problem here is SA enb is very primitive, you can have a 12 core pc but the damn enb
Will only take 1 and leave 11 in useless state

Main reason why i keep myself far from SA enb, im too addict to nice graphics
Cant take the fact of having awesome graphics for 2-4 seconds and then go back
To 2004 graphics

An awesome enb shouldn't always have SSAO, DOF or highest quality. I think, the most important about an awesome enb is the colors, and the colors takes only less than 10 fps away. It's easy to understand and not complicated. Good palette + correct Saturation + maybe a effect.txt which changes colors aswell = very good start.
Changing the colorcorrection is for me the toughest thing in enb. Bloom is for me the 2nd toughest thing. Rest is easy.

You haven't heard from me for a while now, but I wasn't lazy: I got the Filmic Curve Tonemapping from icelaglace into a SA effect.txt. tweaking it right now, looks like sh*t with default preset....

Looks like people do care about playable settings.
Well I made them (Around 34 FPS, new CC settings, timecyc, colormod settings, palette, water texture. ) Looks like sa rage : )

Hope people stop making unplayable sets and focus on real stuff like having sets looking good

Really hope people start doing sets that will be playable
And not some fantasy ones with 5-10 fps

Hello everybody, I think it's time to release my effect.txt.

features:

-main part is from the DKT70 Tonemapping, Sharpen and Desaturation effect.txt
-this effect had no vignette so I applied it
-and something new in san andreas: the icelaglace filmiccurve (wasn't difficult for him to do that; there's a blog out there which has the exact code as it is, he just had to change one variable to r0 so the enbeffect can understand it. but now it's in an effect.txt, you can play with it, got good results, but you'll have to increase the exposure by a big amount!

Any chance to add Skyrim DoF? I tried your advice earlier about it, and tried loading it with a Hybrid ENB; no luck though for me.

Hmmm Skyrim DoF in SA in a normal ENB with only one d3d9 blurs my whole screen, if I have a hybrid ENB it doesn't really blur the screen but shifts everything to the right lower corner, so in small values it looks like DoF, in high ones it doesn't. But the first step to that new effect.txt was finding out that c and c.rgb in the effect.txt are r0 and r0.xyz in the IV enbeffect, maybe I'll be able to translate the old static IV dof from the enbeffect to SA if I find out more like this...

Small video of my playable setts, in fact I'm getting +20-25 FPS more when not frapsing. But setting Visual FX higher than Low drops it to about same numbers, making SA non-playable... But well, I've lived so far with that fact, doesn't really bother me. tounge2.gif

Haven't posted any screens in awhile. SRT3 1.7+Lod DLC+PO 2010HQ+BSOR 2012+PV2 and compatible with SAMP (was a b*tch to make it all work but got it working without any bugs including crysis island etc) Also disabled occlusion for these screens (so the sun rays aren't see through & messed up like with occlusion enabled)

@CreatorCreatureSpore: Looks pretty good sir! Did you have the same problems first to find a good setting with the new tonemapping because it makes everything dark in a strange way? For me it was like the HDR effect.txt: good code but you have to fiddle around to get sth good out of it.

Set ReflectionPower to lower value, I'm using mostly any value between 2 and 10.
And try DK22Pac's LensFlare mod? It should be on first page.
