This hurts, He was the first person I encountered here with links to mods. He was also one who PM'ed me with respect over both the GTA mistakes guides I made and the random topics I made in Gen chat.

RIP Chris, thank you for my work.

Probably the first moderator I noticed when I had just started browsing this place. Always was one of my favorite mods and he really seemed like a cool dude in some of the conversations I had with him.

Same here.

27. Can you believe it? That's not an age to die. I'm sure he led a great life. Condolences to his family and friends, may he rest in peace.

His last post;

"Yeah sounds like the same story as my old 8800GT when it kicked the bucket, it was a Galaxy brand which I believe was part of the problem."

I didn't even knew who GTA3Freak-2001 was, but I want to share my condolences anyway, because seeing news of young people dying is always a thing that makes me feel disturbed, as it is a thing that sounds weird and "against Nature's natural sequence of things", I mean... it shouldn't be possible to die so young, like this!

News like this really make me think that everything can end from one day to another... that a thing which is guaranteed today might not be that easy to do tomorrow... but I rather avoid making my life thinking about things like this all the time... but when I hear news like this one, I remember...

So, RIP Chris.

This is so unexpected, he was to me the best moderator on these forums and one of the most down-to-earth people I have seen on these forums.

Oh dear, this is surely a kick in the teeth to hear.

Though we never really exchanged PM's or what not, his input is one of my earliest memories here and he was one of the first moderators I grew to respect. Definately an approachable and interesting bloke.

27 is WAY too young. R.I.P Chris Carrick.

Terrible news indeed, Chris was such a good, honest, kind human being, and to see such a young life taken at only twenty-seven years old is awful. I extend my condolences to his family friends during this incredibly testing time for them.

No way, GTA3Freak-2001 was probably one of the most upstanding moderators on this forum. And I'm not just saying that, I had a lot of respect for him. His posts were well thought out and you could tell by his dedication that he adored this community.

RIP Chris

I know I haven't been around much in these past few years, but this is a massive shock. I remember Chris well from my first months on this forum. One of nicest guys around.

I'm going to miss seeing his name around the forums. RIP buddy.

That's something I can't imagine... I've been following the forums since 2007, and even though I haven't ever talked to him personally, I've always been respectful to Chris. He really was a veteran member here.

My condolences to his family.

Felt the need to pay my respects. Chris was a stand up guy, always willing to lend a hand with anything. If his behavior outside this forum was anything like what it was here with us... ugh.

The good ones always go too soon.

I didn't know Chris, I never spoke to him, but this is still heartbreaking. Man, oh man. I've been reading through some his posts, and he sounded like a great guy. And he was obviously a major contributor to these forums.
Many condolences to his family and friends in these dark times.

You departed too soon - R.I.P.

Didn't know the guy personally but he was one of those names you saw around and was a great role model for our community. Too young, a sad loss.

RIP
