Holy sh*t man, this looks like a full time job! It's looking great though, how much more before you consider it done?

I regret to inform you that you will never see it done, nor will I.

A project is never really finished. There's always something else you want to do.

That said, off the top of my head, it would need:
-diesel swap
-all carpet and headliner replaced
-seats recovered, center console leather wrapped
-02 Escalade dash
-03-06 steering column (already have leather wrapped shifter and leather/wood steering wheel for an 03 column)
-03+ dual zone digital climate control
-both axles replaced, 4.56 gears, air lockers, ARB front cover, Mag Hytec rear cover, etc.
-Warn or ARB Bumper up front, steel rear bumper with spare tire carrier and hidden winch
-24 bolt H1 beadlocks with BFG Baja militaries, or 17" beadlocks with 38" Trail Grapplers

And that's in addition to the stuff I've already mentioned. Even with an endless supply of money and nothing to do but work on it, I'd still develop more ideas before I got everything else done. So obviously working part time at not too much more than minimum wage I'll never be caught up.

I enjoy it though. I've always got a goal to work towards. Always have something else to look up, something else I want to learn to do myself.

New wheels from Trail Worthy Fab. 8x6.5 rear and 8x170 front, so I can finally get rid of all the spacers/adapters.

Why the green?

Also aren't beadlocks illegal? Unless those are fake.

Same reason I used green LEDs for my dash lighting, I like green on black.

I don't see why they would be. Military runs them on the highway all the time, and I passed inspection just fine with my stock H1 beadlocks. These are recentered H1s.

Pretty sure there are no laws governing them in the US, but if they're marked "not for street use" or similar they could invalidate your insurance in the event of an accident.

Love the TWF's. What BS were they recentered to?

H1's are legal here. They have a DOT number stamped inside. It's weld-on externals that aren't DOT-approved. Mainly just because all the little companies won't take the time and money to have them certified (and don't want the liability if someones wrecks with them on). Military wheels, on the other hand, are. I've never seen a law that states anything specific on beadlocks being illegal in the first place. I dare someone to find it.

3.5" backspacing. Rear track is still a bit narrow, but I'm working on a deal right now swapping out the caddy clip for a 70" WMS 14 bolt FF from a 2005. Think I'm going to go with 4.88s as well.

Depends on where you live for legality.

I can't legally run beadlocks here, but beside going for inspection, you're probably not going to get pulled over or anything for having them.

Worst case scenario I've still got my stock wheels and tires I could throw on for inspection, but I doubt it will come to that. Wasn't a problem last time.

Might depend on GVWR as well. I know they skipped checking my tint.

You still planning on diesel swapping it at some point? If so 4.88's are going to be too low. 4.10's might be ideal then (probably what the 14 bolt already has). 4.56's are the lowest I would go. .

Sold the body lift, replaced ball joints, finished front lift, and picked up a rear axle.
The 8274 I'll be rebuilding and selling in favor of something with a higher capacity.

Got started on the rear lift, picked up a front driveshaft, and got everything I need to rebuild/regear the front with 8x6.5 outers, getting rid of the unit bearings.

30 or 35 spline outters?

30 spline. If the OBS Dana 60 outters end up being a weak point (which I don't think they will on a Dana 50)then I can always upgrade later on. Until then I'll run what I've got unless I find a D60 too cheap to pass up.

Put 35w 4300k HIDs in the PIAA 520 fogs and found some Hella Rallye 1000 driving lights, still need to get them mounted and wired.
Replaced 5000k HID lows with 4300k and replaced the highs that came with the housings with GE Nighthawk Platinums.

Got my knuckles back from Sky and picked up some Warn Premiums...

And did a little more interior work. Fog switch is obviously wired to the fog lights. Cargo light switch will be wired to the rear valance lights, and the DRL off switch will be wired to disable the the Hellas which will otherwise come on with the high beams.

I know its rude to ask but what's the ballpark figure you've dumped into the truck? It's looking like an absolute beast.

Not really sure. Total input is probably around $8-10k but I've made a good amount buying/selling stuff so over all I'm probably around $6-7k into modifications and still have a ton of stuff to sell.

Thanks!

Got one outer stripped down and the new knuckle on tonight. Looks there shouldn't be any noticeable change in WMS.

Test fit everything today and found out the tie rod hits the diff cover and spring retainers, and the stabilizer mounts hit the springs. The ARB cover sticks out a little further and the older knuckles tuck the tie rod in closer to the axle. Guess I'll take the ball joints and spindle studs back out and send the driver side knuckle off to Sky for high steer.
