COP patrol locations

A friend told me to come here, so does any body knows where is the .dat file(or what line in the main.scm)
are in the cops who are patoling around Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas? i meen the cop locations...

The game uses paths

these are complex data files with vectors
one kind for cars, one kind for peds and one kind for boats
alltogether done in 64 nodes.dat files
nodes0.dat till nodes63.dat archived in gta3.img
have a look to Steve M.'s pathmap: http://files.steve-m...s-map-radar.png
the peds and vehicle appears on these paths and the cops and copcars too.

ZAZ, does the table above change the areas where specific police cars spawn? So if I edit it correctly, I could make, for example, Ranger to spawn all over San Andreas, but there isn't any other police cars?

This table is just a tiny special addon and don't change anything
It have nothing to do with the default policecarspawn
Try yourself a tiny testcleo with such a line, it's funny
insert coords from street with paths and test it with active wanted level
But be carefull, i believe it will be saved like a parked_car_generator.

I don't think that the game has areas where specific police cars spawn
Or do you have an example?
I think it's depending to the wanted level unless some missionscripts which spawns extra cops

hey, amm i don't know if im writing in the right thing but... so i would like to create the city patrols example: like the copcarsf.dff/txd is going whit the sfpd1.dff/txd in sf, now i want a nather vehicle (for example) copbike go whit sfpdm1.txd/dff(i allready made an id for the sfdm1 in the peds (313) but the lapdm1.txd/dff will be only in ls...(same whit lv) and also if you could help me whit the LS,LV,SF pd helicopters patrol in ther own city, and here is a new: im making San Fierro rifa turfs in San fierro(allready done the taggs both script, and both paths(in IPL)) and same whit the LV mafias(but no tags because they dint have and also don't had)

oh and also wanted to own the noodes because i know there are the NORMAL cars(but now i know there are the copcars aswell) but i tryed to open it whit richtextbox (andsuch) but it couldun't read it..) what is the program (that you use, or common and good) that you would reccomend, or know

you need to write a script if you wanna make another copmodel do his work
useful code: 06E4: AS_actor 5@ attempt_to_bust_actor $PLAYER_ACTOR

the allocations which cop- and copcar- models should be used ingame are writen in map.zon
the rest does the exe, spawning allways one of the original cop- and copcar- model IDnumbers
