I'm an American wanting to buy some things online that is in Pounds Sterling. If I buy it with my American Express, will they handle all of the currency conversion stuff on their own? Or do they not allow you to buy stuff in non-USD currency?

It all depends on your financial institution, but typically, what they'll do is convert currency automatically, albeit, at a rate that's a bit in your bank's favor. So odds are, you'll pay a bit more than what it says, but it should be a few percent at the most. Some banks do give you a fair exchange rate.

I ask because I've never purchased anything from a non-US country, so I'm unfamiliar with how credit card companies deal with you purchasing something in a foreign currency.

You should ask the company (Bank)
http://about.america...com/cr/cb8.aspx

Your card company will automatically convert your purchases from the local currency to U.S. dollars on your bill. Most card companies exchange money at rates that are more favorable than what consumers would get on their own. You may, however, incur a charge for foreign currency exchange for each purchase. These amounts vary from card to card, and will be outlined in your cardholder agreement. To avoid these fees altogether, international travelers may want to apply for a Platinum Card® from American Express which does not charge any foreign exchange fees and allows travelers to shop like a local in any country worldwide.

Purchasing on line you may want to contact the AE to be sure they will accept the charge when you make it. It is quite embarrassing when they decline the on-line charge for whatever reason they come up with, "to protect your account".

Why are previously banned members allowed to exist on different accounts and post nothing except comments about their banned account?

There are lots of people that we've let return after being banned, some have changed and have done their time, no need to hold it against them forever.

Although we find it difficult to justify why someone should get their original account back, after they pleaded for it to be banned in the first place :p

Blue is just an awesome color. Very mellow, welcoming, it gives me good vibes. Although the current shade could be better, I much preferred the shade we had before the update.

Because you begged us to ban it.
We've got better things to do than pander to your drunken whims. Like playing whack-a-mole with spambots and quietly banning entire IP ranges.

The reason I banned GTA-King was because I was disgusted at him for all the terrible things he done. I thought that if I killed him & start fresh, I would be redeemed. I have now realised that to be false. You can't just run away from your problems. You have to kick them right in the teeth.

So, I ask. Would it SERIOUSLY be possible to unban GTA-King, and give him a chance at TRUE redemption? Maybe sacrifice my current account for the revival?

EDIT: If GTA-King is unbanned, he plans to write a book of his exploits.

Can't you use your yearly name change to just change your name to GTAKing instead of GTA-King?

You...do you not see anything wrong about this?

You say you regret getting the account banned -but it'd be okay to just ban this one? Seems like a thought-out decision.

Anyhoo, I'm a near 17-year-old and I'd like a part time job. We've been advised about interview technique, expectations at a job, the kinda path you should do etc. yet I don't actually know how to try to get one. I try to keep my eye out for job offers in a store, or online etc. but what's the best way to try to get one in my position? And even if I did find one, do I just phone them up and ask about the job? Thanks in advance.

If you place an application for a job and don't hear from them within acouple days, phone them, ask about the status of your application or simply place another application. I was hired once due to the manager saying 'I called you because I saw how determined you were to get the job with your 5 applications.'

Not saying it always works but it will make you stand out and seem serious about wanting the job. I've never had success getting jobs from online applications, normally in person.

70% sure it is in mapping Los Santos, but since that is one of the largest thread in terms of replies on the whole forum with more than 4 million replies then it will be difficult to find it.

I just tried a quick search for "just cause" in the V section, nothing.

How do you add names to quotes without pressing the quote button to reply?

Is it the same as before the update?
