Does anybody know the deal with getting BT Sport for free?

I have BT Infinity 2 and have done since it was available but I'm not a Sky subscriber and I just have standard freeview. To be able to get BT Sport for free, do I need BT Infinity and to be a Sky subscriber or could I get BT sport by just having Infinity?

http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/experts/article-2394713/I-BT-broadband-I-watch-premier-league-games.html

Basically you'd have to subscribe to BT TV and you would probably need a set top box that can accept a decoder card.

Aaah so I'd have to pay a fiver a month for the basic BT TV, then an activation charge of £49, and the card itself is £10.

Heh, no thanks. I don't exactly need it. I would've snatched at the chance if it was free though.

When will the tableb tags be added?

Isn't the third button on the top of the reply box the codes for BB?

Anybody else having problems with Youtube? The page loads fine, but the video player itself doesn't appear at all. Strangely, embedded videos seem to work just fine.

Yeah, tried that. I've fixed it now. Turns out it was Adblock causing the problem. Had to remove it from Chrome and re-install it. Problem seems to have disappeared, for now.

Question about GTA V:

How does the loading screen look like? Is it just like in GTA IV with Bellic, the police, those gta girls etc..?

Does anyone know where and when is this picture from? Real picture, movie, musical scene...?

So far I think that's LA in the 80s/90s, but not much else...

I am trying to take a Snapmatic picture in GTA V, and when I enter my Social Club credentials, I get "The Social Club service is not available. Please try again later." WTF?

Put the entire video URL (up to the end of the video ID) in a youtube tag.

Get an external hard drive or something.

Yeah, SC is down right now man. Server overloads I would imagine or prepping for the new app, GTAO and traffic from V. Can't complain though, atleast V is working. ;)

Why are PC gamers complaining that Steam has DRM?

Because they don't like DRM as a concept, I know this sounds obvious but sometimes the obvious answer is the correct one

These people will be with steam because of their low prices and convenience, you can get most games there at a fair price and a rock bottom one during sales, also talk to friends while playing, all games stored in 1 library, more convenient, But they jsut don't like DRM, without it, it would be perfect in their eyes, maybe.

I don't fully understand cos there is an offline mode

Has Youtube changed? all my subscriptions are gone. I had to re-subscribe, but the subscription numbers don't seem different for them, so was it just me?

What the hell? Why was he banned for this? Can you not speak your mind on the forum without the mods shutting you down anymore?

There's a difference between voicing a legitimate opinion and being confrontational and controversial for no other reason than to provoke a negative reaction.

Was supposed to be a joke since I'm a PC gamer, but evidently I forgot to check the edit by box. People really need to lighten up.

I can imagine it's from real life, unless there's some obscure 80s/90s gangbanger flick that features the Bloods that I'm unaware of.

Were Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories ported to the PS3, or are they just emulated? Do those games run in true 720p or 1080p, or are they upscaled?

Copy over from the Tech Chat forum, as I've not had any responses there:

Right, I have a question for the more audiophile minded amongst us.

My current desktop speakers are Audioengine A2 powered and internally amplified jobbies. They're currently spacered and sat on my desk which isn't brilliant for clarity. I've just ordered an Audioengine D1 DAC to act as my primary interface between my PC and speakers, replacing an old Sound Blaster PCI-E card which is immeasurably inferior.

As I am upgrading my throughput and cables I'm looking for a way to elevate my speakers approximately 20cm/8in and acoustically separate them from the desktop on which they sit. My desk is a corner unit and is tiered with a backing plate which means wall mounts are out unless I can modify them to fix into the desk and properly isolate them. So ideally I'm looking for a pair of desktop stands. However my Audioengines are very small and I'm struggling to find a pair of desktop stands with a similar sized base plate- approximately 10cm x 10cm 4in x 4in). Audioengine produce small rubber stands for the A2s but I resent paying the best part of £30 for two small rubber ramps and want something a bit more aesthetically pleasing.

Any ideas?

What does it mean when a member is in the group "Awaiting Authorisation"?

And another Q whilst I'm here, why does the background of the text turn blue when you copy and paste something from the forums?
