GTA III MP3 Player Problem

OS: MS Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP2
CPU: Intel Pentium D 820
RAM: 3.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 333MHz (5-5-5-15)
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5450
This is my first install and I've never modded it other then adding some skins.
Now that that's out of the way, here is my problem. Everything in the game runs flawlessly, only thing is that the in-game MP3 player doesn't work. All my files are MP3 files and I've placed them in C:\Users\Owner\Documents\My Games\Grand Theft Auto III\mp3 which is where my game is installed. Here is a log of my MP3 Report File:

I have GTA III Version 1.0 and am running it through a +10 Trainer by HonestGamer. Basically the problem is that the MP3 Player shows up in Audio Setup and on my Car Radio, but tuning to it does nothing, there is no music being played. I have tried setting gta3.exe and GTA_III_Trainer.exe to be compatible with Windows 2000, had no effect. I haven't found anyone with the same problems with this, and I have no idea what to do.
So uhh, any help would be appreciated
EDIT: Running it by the normal .exe makes no difference. When I was in Audio Setup, hit Restore Defaults and clicked on MP3 Player it started making these rapid cutting noises as if the sound was being distorted. Kind of like a really sped up song but more like its just messing up. Somethings clearly wrong.

|Did you tune the MP3 player volume in the Audio menu?|
I've changed it around, yes. Didn't seem to have an effect.
EDIT: It appears that I may have just loaded the tracks wrong. I deleted everything and put the songs back in and suddenly it works in game. So....yeah, problem solved.

Why are you running the game under a trainer? Why not just use the .exe that gets installed with the game that was created by the game's developer?
Do you have any "No CD" cracks? Any Daemon tools installed on your PC? These can interfere with the game...
Also, You ARE NOT using "Protected" songs are you? The game cannot recognize Protected media...
Do a Complete Un-install and delete the rest of the Install directory that is not deleted with the normal un-install, then delete the .set file in the User Files Folder in Documents, then do a re-install and play the normal game-using the Original .exe file to start the game and with NO mods or trainers and see if the problem persists..
