Next Generation Graphics for Visual IV (Using ENB)

Next Generation Graphics for Visual IV (Using ENB Series)
This makes the graphics in GTA IV/EFLC more realistic. You can see below. Also I have patched the lights bug on the Rotterdam Tower.

Keep in mind Im using these settings on patch 1.0.7.0.

Download:
NOTE: If your doing a fresh install, patch to 1.0.7.0 for IV, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC. Download V0.2, then download the timecyc.dat
-Initial V0.2
DOWNLOAD V0.2
-Timecyc.dat update
DOWNLOAD UPDATED TIMECYC
For GTA IV place in "[ROOT]/pc/data"
For EFLC place in "[ROOT]/pc/data", "[ROOT]/TLAD/pc/data", and "[ROOT]/TBoGT/pc/data".

In some of these shots you can see that Im on TBOGT, and the Rotterdam Tower lights are working properly.

I copyed it directly out of my directory. I dont think this will work to good on a laptop. It laggs a little on my PC, which is a quad core.

EDIT: I dont see why it would crash. Does it go into gameplay then crash or does it crash when loading?

Because these settings are tuned for 1.0.7.0/1.1.2.0. The other ones are for the older patches. I also have the Rotterdam Tower lights bug patched. You can tell in the pics that Im on TBOGT and the lights are working. smile.gif Its not just the ENB series settings.

Ok that tells me whats wrong. You said your on a laptop. You dont have enough memory to run this, so the game craps out. You may be able to turn down the quality settings in the ENBseries.ini and you may be able to run it.

That should put the quality of the settings on low. Keep in mind that they wont look as good as they were originaly. If this does not work there is one more thing I can try.

Lobby of the WTC? I cant realy fix that, because if I fix it it will screw up everything else. The only fix is MLO.

Hurray, immediate red sky with those shaders. confused.gif

Switching back to the "Red Sky Bug" shaders works better. But besides that, I see not much differences.

I did what you said, putting the VisualIV 1.7.6b6 files into the IV directory first and then the Photo Realistic ENB files.
But still the Game crashes even before the Legal text & Rockstar / IV Logos fade in!.. what can i do to fix this?
I would really love to have this mod working on my system.

Try using the lower end enbseries.ini I posted above. But I dont know if that will work. You have a more advanced graphics card than I do because I have a GTX 460. This mod should run better for you also because you have an i7. But did you install on a clean install of GTA IV/EFLC. Maybe that could be the issue. Another thing you can try is just installing Visual IV. Play the game with out my mod. If that runs fine then try installing the Photo realistic settings. But the issue may be that 0.8.2 enb series does not run on a 64 bit OS. Also your not going to here this too much for enb series but for this one you want to have patch 1.0.7.0 for GTA IV, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC installed. I hope you get it running becuase with your system this would run beautafully. smile.gif

Offtopic: I was thinking about upgrading to a system simler to yours. I7 with 3.4Ghz ect. I just want to ask how does GTA IV run on your system with no graphics mods? How well does it run at what graphics settings? How do other games run?

Ontopic: Update. This graphic mod looks wonderfull with FXAA. Ill upload some screens and a download to FXAA V3.
