A ton of stuff for other people. But the MOST recent thing was a pack of chestnuts, to make stuffing, because my life is incredibly exciting

Not really a 'purchase' as much as a Gift. 42" Vizio Smart TV.

It is so great to be able to finally play PS3 games. I couldn't read the tiny white lines of text in the games like

Skyrim, GTA: IV, GTA V, L.A, Noire, Call of Duty (WaW), Red Dead Redemption. So many cues and clues were lost to me. A 23" screen just doesn't cut it with modern games.

The old games were much more fun. I was able to play GTA: San Andreas on a portable TV (4" screen).

With Smart TV I'm thinking of dropping the Cable and sticking with what's available on VCR, DVD, and Internet. :^:

Yeah I bought some blank DVDs to burn windows 7 on today. You probably don't care about this, I just thought it was amusing that I came in this topic to say this and someone else (you) posted a similar thing.

Love "By and Down". Probably one of my new favourite songs by them.

I'll probably be picking up more music soon. Picked up The Who - Ultimate Collection a week ago.

I bought some new headphones. They are Plantronics. I'm not sure if that Is a good brand or not. They are working well. The old ones got broken because I stood up from my computer without taking them off.

Fun day at the model train show today. Made some good purchases aswell:

So...does that snap track in the pic mean the engine is a Bachmann?  Nice BNSF, but what is it going to take to get you to stop buying Bachmann.

I haven't been buying anything fun of late.  I just installed new phone and network cables along with new jacks in the upper part of my house, but that isn't really photo worthy.  I'm also pretty sure a pic of all the paint and other sh*t I bought yesterday as part of our kitchen redo wouldn't be that exciting either.

It's an Athearn engine, which you know has some really good quality. I think they just pair up with Bachmann for sets, though, seeing as snap track is easier for sets than conventional track. I agree, although conventional track looks nicer.

Here's the specific model itself I got, #2094. It's my 2nd BNSF engine from Athearn, My second BNSF GP38-2, too. I wanted to get at least a Dash 9 or one of the newer diesels, but I didn't see any at the convention.
