You should add roads and dirt tracks that take up to the top, but get harder and harder to drive on the higher you get, be it with obstacles, tight curves and whatnot, but so far nice mod wink.gif

Alright here's the truth Its been a while since I did a road XD so its gonna take a while for that to happen anyways there's plenty of space in IV for another mountain biggrin.gif

by the way does anybody know how to do texture blending with vertex colors?

That's not a problem, I have 3 nice Dakar/Rally cars for such a road biggrin.gif

This tutorial by JostVice should help with vertex blending. It's written for the Grit engine but you should get the idea of how to do it:

Quechus13, you're AWESOME!!!!! biggrin.gif

I directly deleted all other maps, those Japanese maps and Laguna, and only added yours biggrin.gif
Those other maps look f*cking ugly compared to yours smile.gif

May I make a video about your mod?
Ofcourse, I'll give you all credit smile.gif

Awesome Q! biggrin.gif
Are you gonna place the desert besides (or between) the rocks, so it's part of 'Mountain Landscape' or is it a special part?
By the way, when you're done I'll make a video of me rallying in that desert smile.gif

Helle f*cking lujah!
Awesome! Finally a desert where I can rally on, although it's not too big tounge2.gif
Are you gonna do more of this when this 'Island' is done, or are you gonna do mountains again?
I vote for a (huge) desert smile.gif or a jungle with a nice rally path in it between the trees xD

Good job on the sand landscape mate.
I agree that maybe it should be a lot bigger for people like Exxon that will use it for off roading etc.

Perhaps you could make a little bridge or something so we can drive to it instead of needing any other means of transport (air, boat).

Keep it up.

But, I gues it looks smaller on the picture wink.gif

How long do you think you're buzy with the next desert, estimate?
I just can't wait for your awesome maps smile.gif I'm playing DiRT 3 right now, waiting for that desert wink.gif

Just be patient Exxon, Quechus can't live up to your expectations 24/7.
He could even scrap the whole thing if he really wanted to.

I'm not trying to come across as mean but you can only expect so much from someone.

So I tried to make the gigantic desert but I don't have space :S

it will only work if you have MTNQ2 disabled.

let me know your thoughts.

Ah well, then I'll just disable that mountain.
I love a desert more anyway wink.gif
But are you able to disable a part of Liberty City?
If so, you can also do that icon14.gif

You can make something like this

user posted image

The black parts are were you can put a single part, the red parts are the 'connections' so it would be one huge desert, theoretically smile.gif

Upper left corner as one Island would be big enough and maybe not disturb any other maps.. any reasons not to place it there?

Yes, then it would be long. Upper right and down right would be big as a square smile.gif
Why don't we use all places biggrin.gif
