i realise that Rockstar Games made some mistakes in the game story and so.

post here all mistakes you know :

1- in Vice city's beginning, Tommy said that he just came out from jail after 15 years, then, why he appears in GTA Vice City Stories ? (1986-1984 = 2 years)

2- During the cut-scene before the mission "Boomshine Saigon", Phil gets his right arm blown off. However, at the end of the mission when Tommy drops him off at the hospital, Phil's left arm is gone instead.

3- When you look out through the main door of the mansion on Starfish Island, there's a pillar right outside the door. It's the pillar from one of the equally spaced arches supporting the overhanging upper floor. But when you get outside and look back towards the door, there is no pillar. The arch in front of the door is a double span arch.

4- During the "Keep your friends close..." mission intro, Tommy says to load 20 million into briefcases, while the subtitles say 3 million. In a later cut scene, both the subtitles and the audio say, "Here is your three million".

5- In the Mission "Two Bit Hit", the game tells you to drive to the clothes shop "Rafael's", but the store the game leads you to is called "Little Havana Streetwear & Tattoo Parlour".

6- During the mission "Cabmageddon" Delores, the dispatcher, instructs Tommy to pick up Mercedes Cortez in Downtown. But the destination is the former Civil Asset Forfeiture Impound in Viceport.

7- There is a loading screen depicting Auntie Poulet in front of a sign reading "Havana". Since Auntie Poulet is the leader of the Haitian gang, the sign should read "Haiti".

8- During the cut-scene for the mission "Naval Engagement", Danny Trejo, the voice actor of Umberto Robina, mispronounces Umberto's last name as "Robino".

9- William Fichtner is wrongly spelled as Willian Fichtner during the end credits.

This isn't Tommy. This guy is Diaz's goon that was cutting the coke. I don't know why R* made him to look almost like a Vercetti? Maybe as a joke?

It isn't Tommy, if it was Tommy, then why would Vice City consist of Tommy being new in town? And more importantly both Diaz and Tommy had never met each other before when they introduce themselves. It's just a visual Easter Egg, there are loads of Tommy shirts around VCS, unless you think all of them are Tommy? In which case, Tommy Vercetti was in the Army, owns a shop in the Mall, cuts coke for Diaz and sometimes wanders the streets of Vice City in 1984. tounge.gif

I'm pretty sure it's an easter egg or something. One of Rockstar's little mysteries to discover.

The mistake that really makes my head boil is the pronunciation of Niko's last name in IV (it's BELICH, FOR THE LOVE OF JESUS, NOT BELIK!) and the conversations between him and his cousin. I mean come on, at least they could have hired actors from the Balkans to do the voice acting so Niko wouldn't sound like a Russian and Roman wouldn't have that cheap Italian pronunciation. I'm fluent in Slovenian, Croatian and Serbian and whenever the two spoke in "Serbian", I couldn't understand jack without reading the subs.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Mistakes

When you enter the Cobra Martial Arts gym the screen often displays "Cobra Marital Arts".

There is an adult store in the Market district of Los Santos with a sign that mentions their large DVD collection. DVDs weren't released until the late-1990s.

The sign on Mr Grant's bike shop in Dillimore shows a freeride mountain biker, a style of mountain biking that didn't reach prominence until the late 1990s. Furthermore, the bike that is on the sign is a Specialized Big Hit - a model that didn't come out until 2003.

The paper cups on the counter in Cluckin' Bell bear the logo and name of rival restaurant Burger Shot.

Revealing mistakes: The name "Burger Shot" can be read on the cash points at Cluckin' Bell and the Well-Stacked Pizza Co.

On the Radio Los Santos station, DJ Julio G claims not to have the radio edit to 2Pac's "Just Don't Give A f*ck" when it plays. However, all the other songs on the station are unedited.

Before the mission "End of the line" sometimes you can see the hole in the wall you crash through with the SWAT tank to get to the crack palace. You can also see the part of the Sprunk billboard sign that will become a hole at the end of the "Reuniting the families" mission.

The submarine berthed in San Fierro has its stabilizers on the sail - consistent with Russian submarines, but its "USS" title is consistent with American submarines.

In the mission, "Drive-Thru," Big Smoke is sitting directly behind CJ, and Sweet is opposite him in the cut scene when they are ordering the food. Later, when they reach Grove Street, Sweet and Smoke have switched seats.

The rocket launcher fires rockets backwards. The four stabilizers should be on the back, not the front, and the explosive end should be not on the back, but the front.

Just before the "Badlands" mission, Officer Pulaski is talking to Carl. When Pulaski says "We want you to do a little favor for us, Carl", his lips don't move.

The name of the Turismo sports car is misspelled on the packing for the miniature version of the car in Zero's RC Shop.

When C.J. and woozie are playing blackjack, C.J. says woozie has 47, but he has 3 face cards, and an ace, which would either add up to 31 or 41, and he's supposed to have 5 cards as well.

During the Reuniting the Families mission, the helicopter with the cops say, "Los Angeles Police Department" instead of saying, "San Andreas Police Department".

On any Burger Shot menu sign, it shows one of the items for sale is Freedom Fries. This short-lived renaming of French Fries didn't occur until the Iraq war, along with France's refusal to help America in the subsequent operation Iraqi Freedom.

The game features the song "It Was A Good Day" by Ice Cube. However, the song was released in 1993, not 1992, when the game takes place.

The song, "Dre Day" is featured in the game, however the song was released in 1993, not 1992.

On the back of the Ambulance, The part "Ambu" is always missing.

When you are using a Tec9\Micro SMG\SMG, the ammo is the same for all of them, meaning that if you use a Tec9 and walk over an Micro SMG, you will get some ammo. But when you are using a 9mm handgun, you cannot get any ammo by walking over a silenced 9mm, and vice versa.

When going into the 24-7 at Little Mexico, across from the Unity Station, go to the right and look at the first arcade game. It says "Go Go Space Monkey". Play the game and it shows the game "They Came from Uranus".

When you look at the shirt on your gang members, they have a number 7 on the back, and Rimmers written on the front. The design on the shirt is actually of the Saints. You can actually get a Saints shirt at the ProLaps and see the same design

On all highways, you will see the double yellow line, which means it is one lane north and south. The highways should have a broken white line, assuring that it is a four lane highway.

If you get in a train in Los Santos and derail it near North Rock (the easiest place to do it) you will only find two train cars, yet there were three on the train: The locomotive, and two passenger cars.

There are three types of license plates in the state: San Fierro, Los Santos and Las Venturas. When you go to Mt. Chiliad, there is a Camper van. If you read its license plate, the words and numbers are backwards, facing inside the car.

Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When listening to the first episode of "I Say, You Say", a caller says he shoots in his yard that he doesn't recognize. Then he says he has 15 illegal immigrants in his yard, and he killed them with his hands.

When you look at the map, the Clown's Casino is incorrectly labeled.

he AK-47 and M4 incorrectly use the wrong ammo, by using the M4, you can pick up AK round. This is very wrong as the AK uses 7.62mm and the M4 uses 5.56 NATO.

When Cesar is talking to CJ in the cut-scene for the mission "Cesar Vialpando", the cars and persons of the recent low-rider event are gone. However, after the cut-scene you see the previously gone cars and persons go away.

In the cut-scene for the mission "High Stakes, Low-Rider", you see Kendl sitting next to Cesar on the passenger seat. However, after the cut-scene, Kendl is gone and another girl is sitting in place of her.

The Ford GT or known as the "Bullet" wasn't introduced until 2002 not 1992.

The cash register displays of all fast food restaurants show two products: the Buster and the Double D-Luxe. The register calculates a price of 20 dollars in total. But the Buster costs actually two, the Double D-Luxe five dollars. The calculation is wrong.

The game is set in 1992 and features the Stone Temple Pilots song "Plush" on radio station Radio X, but in actuality the song was released to radio in 1993.

1: Tommy does not appear in VCS. That goon was just wearing a shirt similar to the one Tommy wore in 1986. It was a little reminiscence on GTA Vice City

5: Wrong! The game clearly instructs you to change your clothing in Little Havana Streetwear

6: Wrong as well! She just says that Miss Cortez asked for Mr Vercetti especially. Nothing more than that.

7: Don't know what you're talikng about. Here's the artwork. As you can see, the writing clearly spells 'Haiti':

1. The Mission is set in Los Santos(Los Angeles), so u'r wrong about the ''San Andreas Police Department'' or do u mean they have to say ''Los Santos Police Department''.

2. It was released on November in 1992, so u'r wrong.

3. It was released on June in 1992, u'r wrong again.

1. The Burger Shot is not Cluckin' Bell's rival restaurant in any way, which can suggest they are cooperating.

2. The same as above.

3. That's not a mistake in no way! The engine was not capable of making it near-real at that time though...

4. In fact, they swap places as soon as the cutsene at the Drive-Thru ends.

5. 3 Face Cards + 2 other cards can give 47 points: For exapmle,
King (10) + King (10) + Ace (11) + 10 + 6 = 47. Also, it can be possible that Carl was lying to Woozie

6. The pilot says: "This is the Los Santos Police Department"! So you're wrong in this one.

7 & 8. The game takes place in 1992 and partly 1993. Also, those songs were released in late 1992 (not sure about "Dre Day")

9. Not always. It's present most of the times, just so it IS missing sometimes.

10. There are 3-car trains and 2-car trains in the game, so it could be as you've derailed a 2-car train or the 3rd car of a 3-car train flew somewhere beyond the screen.

11. What does the first sentence have to do with Camper's plates?

12. It is labeled correctly. In my game, at least.

13.Maybe it's a special order? $7 goes for food, $13 goes on donations or something?

14. Same as 7 & 8.

Have you been playing Vice City at all? Tommy was released after 15-year imprisonment, so when the VCS events took place, Tommywas still in jail.

That goon in the teal Hawaian shirt is a reminiscence on Vice City, that's all! It ain't Tommy in no way!

What I heard anyway.

my one:
In San Andreas interiors don't seem to match up with the world. Example: You enter a cutscene where the door is on the north side, yet the compass tell you that, inside, the door is on the East or something.

In GTA IV, PBX's apartment seems to have a magic elevator. The elevator doors face east on the ground floor, yet in the apartment itself, they face south.

So many "mistakes" that people are finding that aren't mistakes at all... This topic is becoming "GTA: Mistakes and Misconceptions".

One of the most lamest mistake R* have done was not correctly implementing quadruple insane stunts until LCS. The code is clearly there and copied over in GTA III, VC, and SA, but the mistake lingered.
