I think it would have been cool if they added interiors to the game, like a bank, airport, apartment, Donald Love's media building and Kenji's casino. It would have made for some fun online gameplay experiences.

Have you ever seen the end of the teaser trailer for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier with the band of soldiers deactivating their phantom cloaks? Because that's the only thing that comes to mind when I think "deathmatch stealth". It's pretty badass too.

Uh, swear me man. Everybody who knows something about text files in this game know this too. Search for this on wiki - Polish players figured it out early - look on the date. And BTW, what's new? Or I forgot about something?

There are still new texts like: Get out of here! You're perfectly healthy, Cars turned ON, cheats turned ON, even GORE LEVEL setting etc. - just search for this and I swear it will be there. It's old and I've even powered on this features like 3 years ago or something (far) by editing GTA 3 with menu editor. It's that simple. Many GTA 3 fans just didn't show it on the net wink.gif

As you can see, this mission was originally programmed such that the player actually drove the taxi to the docks as Curly Bob's chauffeur. I was digging through the SCM and I found this. All it takes is a few label changes and the mission plays like the beta. biggrin.gif

Well, you do can drive Curly into the docks in the Taxi, Cabbie or Borgnine, but you have to make sure you arrive in mint condition right in front of the alley exit.

I need to ask why you've said the Darkel message is supposed to happen after The Exchange. Is it actually in the game files, or is just a guess?

Excuse my huge bump to this topic but I think I found some sort of proof about removed areas. Here's a video showing The Tower area (1:40), The Sewer area (2:15) and Industrial Park (secluded Pike Creek). All of the "areas" has meant to be maps for official MultiPlayer mode.

 

I apologize if it's old info but I didn't see any explanation for those areas anywhere else on GTAIII Forum.

I think you have to download the map. It was meant to be a special map for for MP i think.

the only thing that bothers me is that they cut an entire mission. not the fact that it was cut, but that we never got to find out what the mission was. the curiosity's been killing me to this very day
