No luck sad.gif I really appreciate your help. I'm going to try getting rid of most of my mods and see if any of them are conflicting.

Edit: Tried and definately no conflicts unless simple native trainer is causing it. I'm stumped.

I tried those on a clean install with no other mods and it seemed to work but after adding simple native trainer and some modded files (weapons/sounds etc) and it's gone back to what it did do. I'm going to call it quits I think.

I think somewhere in this thread somebody mentions a "Rob mod" where you can rob money from pedestrians while aiming at them. Like a 'stickup' mod.

Hippie i think something like this is right up your alley and the other mod that was mentioned, well... Seems to me like it's a dead mod, all I've found are dead links. Can't even test it.

You should do your own vision of a stickup/rob mod, like how robbing people in Red Dead Redemption works, if you've played it.

Anyway, I was wondering about the updated 'Ticket (no surrender)' mod, can you change the minimum amount of money that the player has in order to be able to get a fine?

There is an 'if' line in the code that checks the player's speed/velocity etc, and it has "(Player.Money < 1000)". I assume that's the line to change it, but I changed 1000 to 50 (an amount that is easy enough to get from $0 if you beat up/rob peds for it avoiding 1 star) and I couldn't get a ticket ever since. Does the inequality need to be the other way around, "(Player.Money > 1000)"?

Edit: It seems that a couple mods that add the ability to rob pedestrians have sprung up recently. Good thing

open drawobject.cs with a text editor like notepad++ , find 0x4A4915EB and replace both times with the new object hash code , here is list of codes http://gta4modding.g...criptingEnums.h , so if you wanted to change it to say a donut you replace 0x4A4915EB with 0x3C4E43BC

You need to complete the mission for Phil to obtain it (forgot how was it named, Picking in the trash or something like that) after that it is stored in your wardrobe and you can put it on.

Can someone modify the MoveB script so that you don't have to be so close to the ped, or so that the ped attaches to the player?

Hi HippieCommunist,

What lines do I have to modify in the ZombieZ cs file to make MORE zombies? Right now I'm getting about 25-35 zombies max. I want HORDES of zombies. I want a MOTHER**CKING apocalypse. I want INSANE numbers of Zombies. I want almost NO CHANCE of surviving!

I've got a powerful enough system to do it. I think I can do 75, 100, 125 or even 150 zombies. Please let me know how to do it!

Hi. Is there a video tutorial on how to setup everything i'll need for the scripts? I'd really like to use them, but I can never install the .NET Scripthook without something going wrong. I'm using the steam version, which I believe is 1.0.7.0. Thanks ahead of time.

I have been messing around with the Zombie script recently, it really brings more 'life' to the game tounge.gif



Anyway, I have a few things I'm trying to tweak in the script.


1. What can I do to make every pedestrian in a vehicle flee in the vehicle, rather than getting out and turning into a zombie?

2. How can I increase the range in which peds are converted to zombies? Right now, I can see pedestrians turning from ped to zombie down the block, it looks quite odd.

3. How can I stop the zombies from jumping?

4. How can I stop the zombies from climbing?

5. Is there a way to spawn vehicles all over that are abandoned, and low health? Can these vehicles be placed in random spots all over (sidewalks, lawns, in grass, etc.) so that they look crashed off the road?

Hey there,

I just downloaded the mod and I'm having some problems...
While using the BasicNeeds.cs and trunk.cs I went to a car, pulled an item out of the car and pressed B to use it - nothing happens.
I do the same thing at other cars, still nothing. Then afte awhile at the top left corner of my screen, it says Error in script BasicNeeds.cs

I can't put an object in my pocket, can't urinate, can't drink/eat, does not work.

Mods I have installed:
LCPDFR (it wasn't on at the time of the error)
RCMP car models, textures, uniforms
Gun texture/model mod
Gun sound mod
Siren mod
ELS v6
Indicator script
Fuel script
Simple Native Trainer 6.4

And I have the following files out of your mod pack:
ZombieZ.cs
BasicNeeds.cs
Trunk.cs
Knife.cs
Ticket.cs

They are all installed in my Grand Theft Auto IV\Scripts folder.

If you could please tell me how I could fix this, thanks!

EDIT: fixed it but now my game is crashing 2-5 minutes after starting confused.gif

Question: I'm looking for a mod which improves police AI-- context-specific searches and more realistic behavior (if you're unarmed and the arrest sequence begins, and you snap out of it w/Rshift but pull no weapon, they wouldn't realistically shoot you-- this needs to be fixed)-- SPECIFICALLY in conjunction with a map-only hud but with no blips mod, and no indication of stars or police search radius. A kind of realistic/hardcore mode.

Any ideas if something like this has already been implemented?

I just DLed your zombie mod, but there's a glitch that whenever a cop is around, I surrender. And then that's it for me. It even occurs in the regular game. Any clue as to why? Or is this just my luck?
