And Gone Again :panic:

with this Error each 3Ds Max start

I Have 3Ds MAx 2010

with the Lastest Microsoft C++

why don't you try 3dmax2014 or 3dmax2016? I use them,now. 12max not work with GIMS in my country. :lol:

I find GIMS in my cumputer like miss somethings, for example,I see the video tutorial show the follow picture,35ktzso.jpgbut ,on my computer,3dmax2016 show:20fc22p.jpgand 3dmax 2012 show:24ded7k.jpgwhat's wrong? wo can help me? thanks everyone!~_~

because in the video it's an old version of GIMS IV, so that tutorial is useless now

 

I just made a tutorial to import models from 3Ds max into the IV with the latest version of GIMS IV, hope it helps you

friend ,I don't see your email? my email: [email protected] um, the up pictures only test,I haven't change any parameners, I'll try when I was free, I'm busy these days. I have some methed about let car appeare on the map which we made ourselfves,  sorry for my English, :evilgrin:

Your smoothing groups are the problem.

No it's not that. Your model need to have zero smoothing groups since it's just a basic square. You only apply smoothing if it needs it.

 first of all, the object into a edit mesh, in the edit polygon level, add uvw map , edit it to you want to, then callapse to it .it will ok

@jin007 not the modifier i meant the normal smooth groups section. Set it to zero. Only use smoothing when needed.
