Crash Injury 1.0

- If you crash your vehicle, everyone inside will lose a realistic quantity of health.
- The amount of health lost depends on the severity of the crash.
- You can be unconscious for a few seconds depending on the severity of the crash.
- Being on a bike or flying through windscreen takes more health from you than being in a car.
- You can get lucky sometimes and get away from a big accident with only a few scratches.

Place the files CrashInjury.net.dll and CrashInjury.ini into the scripts folder within the game directory.
Change the values inside CrashInjury.ini to control the mod behavior.
DisplayMessage=1 -> 1 means a message with a countdown will appear whenever you get unconscious, 0 means it won't.
CriticalDamage=10 -> in percent, can go from 5 to 50. This is the minimum amount of damage the car has to get in a crash to to be enough to hurt people inside. So 10 means the car has to lose at least 10% of its maximum condition in the crash to be considered an accident.
InjuryMultiplier=150 -> in percent, can go from 50 to 300. The value indicated here indicates the proportion between the severity of the crash and the injury. Higher numbers will hurt more, lower numbers will hurt less.
CanGetUnconscious=1 -> 1 turns on the unconsciousness feature, meaning Niko can get unconscious if he loses a lot of health in the crash, 0 disables the feature.
HealthLossToGetUnconscious=25 -> in percent of the total health, can go from 20 to 50. This is the minimum amount of health Niko has to lose in a single crash to get unconscious.
UnconsciousnessBaseSeconds=5 -> can go from 3 to 10. This is the base amount of time Niko will pass out if he gets unconscious. In practice, the amount of seconds he'll be blacked out depends on how hard the impact was. If Niko loses double the health necessary to make him unconscious, he'll be passed out double the time indicated here, LIMITED TO 10 SECONDS MAXIMUM ALWAYS.

I'm curious what your plans for future mods are. If you could make a new first person mod, that would be amazing... C06alt's first person mod is awesome, of course, but it has some significant bugs. And apparently it isn't in development anymore, like some of the other mods that you've already recreated and added extra features to.

These are not bugs, as they were never intended to be in this release (read the mod's description...), these are missing features you'd like to see included. By chance, i was really thinking of adding injury for every kind of impact damage (falling, being hit by a car) in the next version... Lets see if i can work this out next week.

Yes, you are right about two firsts and I'm not sure wich mods makes my car super accelerations sometimes.
I'm waiting patiently for new updates for this clever mod. Good job

This was planned. The cops wait in their position. This happens because they don't know if you're dead or alive, they actually suspect you're dead. So, they wait to see what's going to happen.. I thought it would be very stupid to see a cop shooting or declaring arrest to someone that's unconscious (think about it).
But you're not the first one to point it as a flaw. Maybe making it that way is more unrealistic. Probably in the next version I'm gonna put an option to make people decide by themselves if they want to be arrested when uncounscious or not.
Gotta confess I'm planning a big revamp of this mod. I want to add injury for every impact, not only vehicular crashes (gotta add being hit by a car, falling inside or outside a car, leaving a car in high speed, etc...). I'm planning to subtract the uncounscious feature as well and make it an independent mod, so people can use it without being dependent on crash injury.

You're pumbing an old topic. Which is against the forum's rules.
With that said: You could have easily PMed the person who started this topic, rather than bump it, and have everyone get pissed off at "The new guy who registered a forum without reading the rules carefully).
You're not making a very good first impression of yourself when you do things like this, and most of the people here, including myself are tired of new people bumping topics with replies like "hi i can have link old one is brokn"
But like I said earlier, you've put quite more effort into your post than other new members.
Please make sure you read the rules again. I'm not an admin, I'm just another old member who is tired of seing new commers do stupid stuff, like bump a topic that was last posted on almost an entire year ago.

Almost one year ago I posted here. I'm still using this mod and still recommending it. It's awesome.
