The third generation Chevrolet Monte Carlo with a 454 engine block  :)  - Has been a dream car since for 8+ years when I first seen one.

379577_10151520567259613_1463611071_n.jp

Nissan Cedric 330 - For making people wonder what it is and because for me pimp > performance  - Though, mine wouldn't be as lowered and would have larger wheels than shown in this image.

305765_10151466232009613_914857466_n.jpg

4th Gen. Nissan Safari Kingroad for every other day...It is just a beast of a vehicle and I simply like the classic design.

993_16.jpg

The Hachi-Roku preferably in a hatchback even though the coupe is more rigid and lighter. (2 images below)

537203_10151282930584613_1070874696_n.jp935557_10151487615734613_2002252245_n.jp

My final choice would of course be a 1st Gen Nissan Skyline "Hako Suka"I am very intrigued with the development of a vehicle and for me the GT-R line has been apart of the pinnacle in technological innovation without sacrificing their reputation for reliability. This car marked the start of a legend that we know as the Nissan GT-R and is thus my premier "dream car". Lastly, everyone seems to know the later models particularly the R34 and R35 where as older generations seem to be forgotten so this is again to make others wonder what it is.  :p (1 image two videos from great youtube channels)

I would have to have more than 5 cars. I'd have to add the e39 M5. That is the most badass M5 there is.

Thanks! Some of the vehicles members having been listing are quite interesting. There are the obvious choices and then the forgotten gems that (seem to me at least) are often eclipsed by more recent or hyped models. I'm surprised to see vehicles like the Dodge St. Regis, 1973 Ford Landau, 1933 Pierce Silver Arrow, BMW 2002 let alone seeing the Toyota AE86 being quite a popular choice  Then again I hardly know any race fans or car people IRL.

So four New Beetles and a glorified New Beetle?
A Turbo would make a better track car than an RSi, the combination of Haldex and big, heavy VR6 up front is not exactly ideal.

HERE COMES ILLOUSIONS sh*tTY AMERICAN CAR LIST!

First of, a Dodge St. Regis. It would be a weekend cruiser that's always garaged under a car cover and it would be washed at least once a week.

Second, a 76ish Cadillac Seville that would fall under the same description as the St. Regis.

Third car would be a ~1976 Ford Country Squire. It would be a daily driver.

Fourth would be a 1977-78 Ford Ranchero, that I'd use to haul parts and stuff around.

And fifth would be a 1965 Buick Electra. Would look pretty much like this one, only it would have a 6.2 LS3 and matching transmission hooked up to the original column shifter for that ultra-sleeper feeling. Would be used for dragracing and such.

And before you ask, no I would not want a Ferrari or an M5. They just don't fascinate at all, unlike old detroit steel.

My, how things change-ish over three years.

First, Cadillac Seville. This one stays.

5185909062_b313bfa3b9_z.jpg

Second, Ford LTD Country Squire 74-78. This one stays as well.

5282379673_25e4ab2420_z.jpg

Third, Ford LTD II 1977-79. Because they're the quissential 70's American car.

8835994326_f48baa661c_z.jpg

Fourth, 1980 Ford F150. One of the most handsome trucks made, and you just can't beat a good truck.

8404774305_1d8d48edb2_z.jpg

And fifth, a 70's Dodge Sportsman van. For those long road trips, and because I've turned in to a van nut lately.

Pretty much! Can you guess my favorite car? Lol. I consider the TT to be sort of like a late 90s/early 00s interpretation of the Karmann Ghia in that sense.

Yeah, but remember the RSi is AWD while the Turbo S is just FWD. If nothing else it'd just be cool to have one for the sake of owning it alone. :p

Gen 1 Haldex isn't really AWD. More accurately, it isn't AWD unless you've already lost grip.
1.8T with a trick diff like a Wavetrac or Peloquin would be faster and more fun on a circuit.

@Illusion, I like your taste in cars, bud!

My, how things change-ish over three years.

First, Cadillac Seville. This one stays.

5185909062_b313bfa3b9_z.jpg

Even if I love the boxy styling of the old American cars, there's something in the Seville that doesn't convince me, perhaps that front end or the wheel position, dunno. By other hand, I really like the rear end and how the tail lights are positioned. Besides, I've heard they were pretty well made, something that didn't seem to be common back in the day.

Third, Ford LTD II 1977-79. Because they're the quissential 70's American car.

-snip-

Those were some sharp looking cars, love them.

photo1.jpg

I like the same generation Ranchero as well but I think I'd take the 1979 Mark V over these other two! :p

It was pretty hard to select just 5 but here's mine...

xcwei5l.jpg

Ford Thunderbird 10th generation 1989 - 1997 :Probably my favorite car of all time. I've always wanted to own one, perhaps later in life when I have more money and knowledge in car maintenance I'll actually consider buying one.

lMO8NJz.jpg

Volkswagen Golf Mk2 2nd generation 1983 - 1992 :I've always liked this compact car for some reason. I've seen it used in rally and touring car competition and overall it's just a great little car.

cHl8ZB4.jpg

Ford Sierra RS Cosworth 1986-1988 :This car has grown on me in the last few months. It was a special and limited edition of the Sierra and primarily developed for motor racing. At the time, manufacturers had to produce a certain number of special models to be sold to the public if they wanted to use that same vehicle in racing.

IoMeUkq.jpg

Volvo 740 1985-1989 :Because it owns.

4C18h52.jpg

Pontiac 6000 1982 - 1985 :The GM A Body cars are all awesome. But if I had to pick one from them, it would be the 6000. I just really like the looks and shape of this car. The Ciera would be a close second.

Gotta say that I also like those Pontiac 6000. The STE version with the triple headlight is a pretty cool looking one.
