Before we start this journey with Vice City, i want to say a couple things..

After the big success of Liberty City Nights, this a big step for me. Because with this sequel to LCN, The NightTime series becomes "first mod trilogy ever made for GTA series". Thanks everbody!

Episode 2: Turn On The Night


Turn On The Night sequel is actually a re-make of Vice City Advanced mod (Without 80's theme of course). The map is same with Advanced, but all textures in High Definition. And as you know, the map will change by the time goes on. So by that logic, we can call Advanced as the "basic point" of this sequel.

This looks extreme! Nobody has done retextured Vice City yet, so I will definitely download every single update that will be made for this episode! Keep up!!!

thank you so much guys. i did all the texture work at 1 day. so they are not my best work. but for 1 day, its rocks.

Yeah? Like which TC did retexture the whole city of Vice? Please. This Omer's episode will do it for the first time and it will be astonishing. icon14.gif

Its ENB bug, but looks really epic!

It's not a bug, it's the way it's coded, giving light and reflection to dynamic objects (which includes peds aswell)

Omer, nice one! I would suggest replacing those horrible palm trees...

well i cant create neon lights by myself, but i can put 2dfx lightning to buildings and bridges. and that's exactly what i am going to do.

Anyway, when we are at the topic of neons, how are those neon lights on buidlings made? I mean, I know that they are turning on in late hours till mornin', and that's all. Can someone tell me how are they modelled?

they are time-controlled models. you can actually edit which hours they appear at map with map editors. i dont know how they made neons.

I knew that... I was wondering if someone could make some neon objects for buildings...? That would be great to fit the atmosphere, take a look at NFSU2 for example, they make a buliding really stand out!

Hm. People look weird, palms are really "gotta-go". Everyting else, lightning, reflections, textures (except starfish roads), mmm just awsome.
