Disclaimer: A few things i would like to say first: 1. This is my first concept thread, I'm willing to improve if people have suggestions but just know it probably won't be good right away. 2. If Carcer City has been done, I am not ripping people off, I can guarantee that because I have not read any of them (if they exist) 3. For anyone who doesn't know Carcer City is the setting of Manhunt another R* game. It has been confirmed to exist in the GTA universe.
Karl lived in San Andreas. But then The Bratva took over. The city went to sh*t, and Karl faught back. The overwhelming force of the Bratva forced Karl and his friend HS to flee, only to be hunted down. He must fight back. Against laws, against gangs, against everything.
Karl is a man, a man craving for death of The Bratva. Karl is soon pushed out of SA to a whole new realm, 'Carcer City'.
He soon meets up with a friend named, 'Timmy'.
Karl doesn't realise until now that his friend, 'Darden' is now in a mental facility.
The game starts out with a big fire fight between Karl Jackson (the games protagonist) Huge Steam (Karls gang buddy) and a huge gang of Bratva. After awhile Karl and HS realize they are outnumbered and start fleeing on foot through the alleys. The Bratva are gunned down whenever they get close to Karl and HS, and the cars can't get to them because they are in tight alley ways. Eventually a guy wearing a dirty jacket on a helicopter starts hovering above them. He is holding an AK and starts shooting at them. He misses, but he keeps shooting. Eventually a round goes through HS's leg (behind his knee) he falls over, Karl tries to help him but soon realises he will die if he doesn't move on. So he manages to escape.
^ The intro that you just read all takes place in San Andreas.
Karl flees to Carcer City because of the overwhelming Bratva population in SA. He has some connections in Carcer City. Upon arrival he links up with Timmy, who was in the Bratva, to figure out how he's going to escape the Bratva who will inevitably be hunting them down. Timmy decides that they have to fight back, but seems more concerned with his own survival. Timmy has "accidently" started selling drugs on a rival gangs turf. Karl is weary of any extra rival gang attention so he buys a ski mask and takes the gang turf over for Timmy.
When you return to Timmy he thanks you but asks for just one more task before they both get some more guns and attack some Bratva. Karl reluctantly agrees. This time he is asked to hijack a car full of drugs, while it's moving. This would be an introduction to a new game mechanic where you hijack a vehicle, from another vehicle. Done by getting up next to the car on a motorcycle and pressing Y (or triangle) and doing a quick time event. After this you return to Timmy. He gives you the number of one of his associates, as well as Darden's (See above) current mental facility. You then have the option of doing a mission for one of them, or just continuing with Timmy's missions.
After doing enough of these missions, including killing as many Bratva as possible, you need to break Darden out. This is because Darden has promised to give you a huge pile of explosives in exchange for freeing him. Karl, Timmy and Darden all head for the explosives, prepared for an ambush. The C4 pile is, as expected, ambushed by NOOSE. The three of them fight them off, but Timmy is shot and killed. After escaping you are called by Richard Smith who tells you to meet him at NOOSE headquarters, where you can not bring any weapons. He gives you some missions and also introduces you to the head of Carcer City Police Department (CCPD) Dmitri Bytchkov. Who, obviously, has ties to the Bratva and turns a blind eye to all their crimes
After doing some jobs for both of them (Bytchkov and Smith) of them, you do another job for Smith which introduces you to JJ. He wears a white tuxedo and has really god awful 80s hair. He basically looks like he could be in Vice City. Annnnnd that's just wear he came from! He has a huge amount of money from shady nightclubs aswell as selling club drugs. This allows him to take advantage of most people in Carcer City. (which according to gta.wikia is based off Detroit) JJ, while an overall sleezy guy, has some sympathy for Karl because they both fled their home cities. He introduces Karl to more rich thugs like himself (later on). The first mission for JJ is about destroying another nightclub. It shows Karl that JJ's Glitsy retro exterior has a heart full of hate. The mission is structured like a rampage, with the following quotas: 40 Civilians 15 security and 20 Cops (Which inevitably come after the shooting.) Escape a 3 star wanted level and mission complete.
Karl receives a call from his old Parole Officer, telling him to meet in an alley at 3 am.
When you arrive the officer pulls a gun on you. There is a conversation about how the officer hunted Karl down after he left San Andreas, and that he's only alive so that he can be used. If Karl disobeys the entire police force will have a picture of him on their dashboard. The first mission is pretty mild. Follow a convict on probation suspected of altering a drug test. After following (without spooking) him for long enough he arrives to his crew where he has a very...incriminating... conversation about pee. You call up the parole officer who tells you to cap them.
After doing some jobs for the cops Karls phone receives a message on his phone. It's a picture of a hospital room with HS in it followed by "Behind the mall downtown, 2 am." Karl calls up Darden to see if he could provide some sniper support. Darden agrees. When Karl arrives everything is silent, just darkness and litter in the air. A bullet flies through the air, causing blood splatter just 10 feet away in a corner Karl didn't notice. All hell breaks loose. It was an ambush, Darden spotted one of them and shot before Karl was killed, saving him. Karl has to retreat to the getaway van with nothing but his life and his guns. The van is chased by what, upon further examination, are Bratva. Karl, in the passenger seat has to defend the car long enough to get to safety. When the mission ends, Karl is left with the following disturbing knowledge. HS is in a hospital controlled by The Bratva, and he has no way of freeing him as of yet.
Karl decides he has to meet up with JJ, his only powerful friend, to figure out a plan. Both to rescue HS and to sever ties with the Government. He arranges a meeting in two days. Before those two days are up he must evict some Bratva from their turf in Carcer City. The process is the same as San Andreas, so before the two days are up you must capture 5 territories.
A turning point in the game, where Karl decides how he's going to take a stand, and which is the bigger fish to fry, The Bratva, or The Feds. JJ convinces him that if he kills the feds now, he won't have time to stay in Carcer City and eliminate more Bratva/rescue HS. Therefore, the Bratva takes priority. JJ says he knows a drug lord, who works for the Columbian Cartel, he will call him up and arrange things so that Karl can get a piece of his empire, some assets and some
comrades to even the odds...a bit..
Karl meets up with Jose (Drug Lord) who gives him five tasks:
1. Eliminate a boat yard full of enemy Cartels
2. Kill San Andreas Governer
(similar "Saint Marks Bistro" style mission although instead of flying San Andreas-Liberty City you fly Carcer City-San Andreas to assassinate the governor) This second task causes even more government attention, requiring Karl to do more tasks for the already demanding Richard Smith.
3. Bomb 5 crack houses.
4. Use an attack helicopter to stop rival drug shipments before they reach shore.
5. Promise Jose you will kill Richard Smith & Dmitri Bytchkov.
After the fifth "task" Karl recieves a phone call from an "unknown number"
"Karl. I am sorry you are not a bleeding corpse by now"
"Who the f*ck is this?"
"I am Vladimir Varenki. Head of this nations Bratva. I know of your slayings upon my brothers"
"f*ck you, Russian c*nt. When I'm done with the Bratva all of it's members, including you will be lined in chalk."
"Haha, I like your persevearence but it is delusional. Give Timmy my regards in hell."
Karl now knows the name of the leader of the Bratva. Good enough for him to visit someone JJ introduced him too, Micky Shaperd. Racketeering expert with connections.
He asks Micky if he can do some digging, possibly find the location of Vladimir. Micky responds that he would love to help, but business is business and he can't use up the mobs "valuable" time unless he is getting something in return. Karl is skeptical but decides it's fair enough and asks what the first task is. Simple sounding; go on an "attack run" against a rival mob that's sprouting up. The mission includes throwing molotovs through some windows, and participating in drive-bys. Finally two vans full of attackers chase your car, eliminate them, drive back, mission complete.
"Karl GET THE F*CK OVER HERE!"
"Wow JJ what's going on?"
With that urgent phone call you can either continue helping Micky, or go see JJ.
When you meet with JJ two cops are talking to him, harrasing him and breaking his stuff. They leave after glaring at Karl and JJ.
"What the f*ck have you been up too?!?!" - JJ
"Dude, I told you I don't have other options man, they'll kill me if I don't help out. Plus I'm pretty sure Dmitri could kill HS if he wanted two, he does have Bratva connections" - Karl
"Yeah and that ass hole Richard..." -JJ
"Could do whatever the f*ck he wants he's the head of NOOSE" - Karl
"Right... Right, just wish these pigs would keep me out of it!"- JJ
"sh*t dude, you run some pretty shady businesses, how do you know it's related to me?" - Karl
"It's related!! You know how many motherf*ckers are cleaning my sh*t up?" -JJ
"Fair enough. I'll see what I can do man but i got other sh*t to worry about." -Karl
"whatever.. Leave... Forsake me to the f*cking pigs!" - JJ
"I'm gonna fix it!" -Karl
"LEAVE!" - JJ
Karl leaves and recieves a call from his parole officer.
"I got nothing to say to you sh*t head"
"Not a very nice way of talking to the man who owns you"
"You don't own me bitch"
"Well I own JJ. And Dmitri seems to be fine with...Sharing his privileges with me...If you answer to him, you answer to me"
Karl hangs up, he goes to Geralds (very high class) house, where he did some "tasks" for him.
After breaking open the door it turns out a bunch of cop buddies are drinking cocktails and listening to music. The cops are having a party and don't appreciate the intrusion. You must fight through them until you get to Gerald. (they are armed with pistols and some shotguns)
When you find Gerald he's standing there, frozen with fear.
"YOU CRAZY MOTHERF*CKER!, you think Dmitri and Richard are just going to let this go?!?! You're a dead man!"
"The cartel is on my side, the biggest dealers are on my side, Darden is on my side, and I am on my side. You're little thugs are f*cked"
Gerald pulls out a kitchen knife from the holder in the kitchen they are in. He swings it at Karl's face, Karl grabs his arm and throws him threw the glass door. He's bloody and has shards of glass sticking into his flesh, Karl kicks him over the hillside, forcing him to crash into big rocks. When he get's to the bottom of the hill he convulses, vomites blood, and finally dies after Karl shoots him in the head.
Karl then decides to meet with Micky, with all the action happening it's only a matter of time before sh*t hits the fan, and Karl wants Vladimir dead before then.
Micky informs Karl that it will be a week before some info on Vlad arrives from Russia, and until then he reccomends strengthening his connections, as well as stocking up on body armour.
Karl now has the options of doing missions for Jose, JJ or Darden. (i will write about all of them when I add a missions list)
When you meet up with Jose he will say that he is pleasently surprised to see you again. Then he will explain his plan to "control" Carcer City. Karl is skeptical, but helps Jose anyway. Jose says that first, he needs to form an alliance with the Dominican Mob in Carcer City. They have arranged a meeting where Jose is selling the DM coke at a very low price, hopeing to get on their good side. He asks Karl to oversee the meeting, and keep both parties alive at all costs.
When Karl arrives everything seems to be okay, but then a car drives by, and bullets fly out its window. Killing two DM gangsters and two of Joses men. The survivors quickly get to cover. The head of the DM (known as Matt E) at first thinks Jose tried to screw him, but then realises that some of his men are dead too, and that the meet was ambushed by the Bratva, who are still attacking.
After some gunfighting the Bratva flee, but Matt E has taken a bullet. Karl has to take him to the hospital before he bleeds out.
After this the player has the option of also working for the DM.
After working for the DM, Darden, Jose and JJ you get a call from Micky, asking to meet him at his "office", which is basically a backroom in the nightclub.
Micky tells you that after some "research" he's found out that Vladimir has a yacht located at see just outside of Carcer City. Micky says he can provide you with a boat, some ammo but nothing else.
Karls options are a bit limited. Joses attack helicopter was broken during a recent mission for him, JJ is high on pills & paranoia, He doesn't know Matt E well enough, and he's going after one of the best guarded mobsters in the city with nothing but himself, some guns, and rage.
Karl uses a speed boat to get to the huge yacht. He is spotted and must make it on to the first floor quickly. You must fight through 2 floors of Bratva, armed with AK's and Shotguns.
When you get to the top floor Vladimir points his AK at you.
"Well! Here we are... Racist pig!" -V
"Racist?! This isn't about race! You ruined San Andreas! The 90s tore that place to sh*t! Then just when the recovery started picking up speed, the god damn Bratva move in!" - K
"I was taking what was mine! Might makes right! The Bratva is more than those street gangs ever could amount to!" -V
"Bullsh*t. Grove Streets taking you down right now!" - Carl
This ensues a bit of a "boss" fight. Vladimir steps onto his helicopter, piloted by another Bratva member. The heli rotates around the Yacht with Vlad shooting his AK and throwing grenades at Carl. If Carl doesn't take Vlad out quickly the grenades will sink the yacht, killing Carl.
When Carl wins the fight a cutscene occurs, showing Carl shoot Vlad in the stomach, which causes Vlad to lean forward and fall off the heli, right in front of Carl. Vladimir squirms and bleeds, Carl leans forward and says
"Grove 4 Life bitch" then blows Vlads brains out.
Karl decides to visit Micky and tell him about the ordeal. Then he gets a call from Jose.
"Hey, Jose, I'm a bit busy man" - C
"No problem, this is real quick. I have an associate Marko" - J
"Marko? He's Columbian?" - C
"No man, no. He's Russian, but I assure you he is not Bratva!" - J
"Uh, okay alright, where would I find him?" -C
"Downtown, the CarcerRusalka Hotel. Apartment 326." -J
"Haha downtown Carcer. Even more dangerous than Los Santos. Alright
I'll check it out." - C
Carl has the option of helping Marko, or going straight back to Micky.
When you see Marko, you arrive at his filthy apartment. Decorated only with some TVs, a laptop, and a mat with the letter "E" on it. You also realises he has a bit of a potty mouth.
"BLOODY BABY SEX!!" - M
"What the f*ck?" - C
"Oh sorry ssorry...Juan sent you??" - M
"Yes." - C
"Great. Listen I have a bit of a problem." - M
"With that language..I certainly hope so." - C
"Very f*cking funny! Listen Juan said you where helpful...You can help me?" M
"Yeah, but who's paying?" - C
"Uh.. I'll give what I can. But believe me, Juan will be very greatful." -M
Carl thinks it over.
"Well what do you need?"- C
"I need my problems to leave me the f*ck alone! I got a habbit sure, who doesn't? But I'm not losing my ass because the f*cking owner thinks he's a f*cking smartass and rigs the odds!" -M
"Just tell me where I got to go, and who I have to kill" - C
Marko sighs and takes some deep breaths.
"The Dice Club near the water.. South Rykers Street. Blow it to pieces."- M
"sh*t man you remind me of Darden! Fine."- C
"Go! Get to it!" -M
You call Darden.
"Hey, Darden..Remember the explosives...The ones Timmy got capped for?"
"Of course. I still have sh*tloads..Even though I used some for personally usage.."
"...Fine whatever. Meat me by the Dice Club, bring a bit of it."
Long story short, you blow up the Casino, lose the cops... and get a whole $50 for it. Markos debts make him unstable, and low paying. Also, temptation, to do whatever it takes to make some money, and some breathing room. Even Betrayal.
When you see Micky again
"Carl! Good to see your still alive." -M
"Thanks. Vlad is dead." -C
"Well I'm happy for you. But unfortunatly, Vlad doesn't really concern me." -C
"Yeah well, what may apply to me might not apply to you. Anyway, if you need anymore jobs done, I'm free to help out for a little while." -C
"No Carl, I'm afraid you're not. Not for me, not for anyone. Call me selfish, but I gotta save my own ass on this one. Richard didn't appreciate you're little Yacht battle. And I'm sure as hell not going to be blamed for it. Richard did some digging, and he gave me the generous offer of selling you out, or taking a bullet. Sorry Carl, I sold you out."- M
Before Carl can say anything a flash bang explodes in the room, and FIB agents armed with MP5s rush the room. In the confusion Micky escapes, and Carl must fight his way out of the club.
Carl calls JJ
"JJ, you're friend Micky. Where can I find him besides that backroom?" - C
"Well Carl... Um, I'm not sure I can tell you that...He'll cap me man, he'll cap me" - JJ
"No, he won't. In fact, I plan on capping him" -C
"Oh well uh, um, in that case... Here, you know what, I'll arrange a meeting with him... Get a, a shipment of some coke or something, you can ambush it, and uh kill him." - J
"Great. Call me up when that's done." -C
Carl decides to strengthen his connections, Marko or The DM. Marko, a low paying scum, who's only benefit is giving a good report to Jose, is the exact opposite of The DM, high paying
Carl has another agenda, aswell. His Parole Officer is dead, Varenki is dead, but nothing too bad has happened to him yet. He thinks that Smith, or Bytchkov, or both are planning something. And before they act, he has to save HS.
A video is sent to Carls cell. It's Huge Steam. Being tortured by The Bratva. They burn him with a blow torch. They cut him with scrap metal. All while laughing. Then a member of The Bratva faces the Camera.
"Our leader is dead. Our gang is bleeding. Because of you. This will not continue, if one more Bratvas blood is spilled over Carcer ground, you're friend will be hanged from the highest building in Carcer City, for all of the population see his shame. We will not stop there. Los Santos, will be burned to the ground, we will kill the residents. All your memories will be just thoughts with out a setting"
Carl is pissed, but theres nothing he can do at the moment. When you go to the DM again you ask them if they can help.
Matt E and Carl have this conversation:
"Matt. Listen, I know I haven't helped you too much. But I need a favor." Carl
"Carl listen, our gangs in a bit of trouble. A key member, is missing. And he takes priority above anything else." Matt
"Well. If I help find him, will you help me?"
"It's not finding. It's rescuing. He's been kidnapped by a gang I think you are familiar with. The Bratva. We have sent dozens of our men to save him, but they have all died, and Vert has not been saved." Matt
"Listen. The Bratva will kill HS if they find out anymore Bratva have been killed by me. If you can guarantee me that you can find HS, then I'll save Vert. But you have to find him quickly" Carl
"Deal." Matt E
Matt shows tells you the location of Vert and his captors. He sends a dozen DM members with you for a final stab at saving Vert.
Vert is at the very top floor in an old abandoned parking garage, filled with Bratva. While wearing a ski mask, Carl and the DM assault the structure. Countless Bratva are killed as they make their way to the top, but the flip side is that by the time Carl reaches the roof, all the assisting DM have been killed.
When Carl gets to the top he looks around for VL, but finds nothing. Suddenly a helicopter flies in and Dmitri Bytchkov walks out, holding a bound and gagged VL.
"Haha, Carl... You know this means your friend will be killed right?" -D
"F*ck you Bytch. I'll work for you and Smith, just leave HS out of this." -C
"Carl....Where would the fun be in having you work for me, if you didn't know I killed your only f*cking friend?! haha, sure he's not dead yet. You gotta make him suffer first. Oh, and that torture in the video? It's nothing." -D
"What incentive do I have not to kill you right here? You f*cking sh*t!" -C
"It's not a matter of incentive. It's a matter of ability" -D
With this, Dmitri shoots Carl in the waist, causing him to fall to the ground, bleeding.
"As for your Dominican pricks little friend; I have no use for him. But it's always good to build a body count, haha." -D
With this Dmitri shoots Vert in the head, then throws him off the edge.
Dmitri gets back in his heli, he leaves Carl without assistance, but knows he'll survive, because Dmitri is sending the police to pick Carl up and detain him, while Dmitri goes to torture HS.
Carl passes out from blood loss. He wakes up in a cell with intense pain around the wound. He looks around the room, he sees a few CCPD officers, some tables, a computer. Not much else. He doesn't have a cell mate. There's nothing he can do to escape.
A terrorized scream comes from a few rooms down.
"Aahhhh agg god stop it! You're killing me!"
"Bleed you f*cker, bleed!"
The CCPD pull their pistols from their holsters, but are shot to the ground, forming one big pool of blood.
"Search the cells for Carl. Jose wants him."
Carl gets up, causing more pain.
"I'm over here, help!" -C
One of Joses men walks over to him.
"My brother, you're a friend of Joses, you're a friend of the Cartels. Come with me." -One of Joses men.
Joses group of Cartel members lead Carl to a Patriot car.
"Jose has found Mr Steam. He is being stored at the Ricardo Memorial hospital. It's infested with Bratva, we are going to clear it out and rescue your friend. Take this Vicodin and this AK, we are going to need your help" Carl does as such and waits to rescue HS, the final step before Carl can start to fulfill his promise to Jose, and himself.
They arrive one block away from the hospital. Shock and awe is the plan. Flood the place with bullets, kill all Bratva, save HS. There are cars in front of the hospital, with Bratva standing behind each. On the inside all doctors and other medical staff have been murdered, their corpses lying the ground, which is bright red from dried blood. The facility is hell. A hell that Huge Steam has been living in for over a month now. It's time to save him.
The cartel and Carl fight their way inside, leaving at least a dozen bodies behind. They fight up staircases, through hallways, even clearing elevators. Both sides take heavy loses but Carl and about three other cartel members make it to HS's room. Where a bloody, bruised friend of Carl's lies on a hospital bed with 9 x 19 Sig pointed at his temple. The thug with the gun yells at Carl:
"You want your friend to live??! You drop the f*cking guns!" - Thug
"No, we're not losing our leverage to make you feel more secure." -Cartel Member
"Well then I might blow this bitches brains out!" - Thug
"Then you'll die." - Carl as he points his AK at the thugs head
"How can I survive this?! How can I live?!!?! You fuc-"
Carl shoots him in the head, realising he's distracted.
"You can't live. No one who f*cks with me lives" -Carl
The Bratva never had time to call for backup. HS was saved, Carl was freed, and ready to take out the men who made life in Carcer so difficult. The men who forced him to do the hardest work, for the lowest pay. The ones that caused a higher body count then any criminal in the city. Dmitri Bytchkov and Richard Smith.
But Carl soon realises there are a few last things he has to do.
And help HS end his life in Carcer. Once Richard dies, the governments going to go all out against both of them, HS doesn't need any loose ends when that happends.
But first a little reunion has to take place. Darden and Huge Steam haven't seen each other in a long, long time.
"Darden! f*ck man good to see ya" -HS
"Hell yeah dude. We're gonna cap or problems and rise through the ranks." -D
"Hold on a sec. Lets focus on the problems at hand first. We need to fix them before we start anything new, and I plan on doing that as quickly as possible" -C
"Haha well f*ck us for looking at a brightside." -D
"Yeah man. I just got out lets party." -HS
"Fine but then we're getting to business" -C
"Haha alright mista oh-so serious. I thought you'd be happy to see me Carl?"-HS
(at this point you start driving them to the club)
"Man I am happy to see you. It's just tough times bro" -C
"Yeah, yeah. You killed the russian bitches off two weeks ago, now you dealin with the cops without even dealing dope." -D
"You not dealing anymore Carl? Haha, it went so well in the Grove if I remember correctly?" -HS
You arrive at the club.
"Lets get wasted my brothers." -HS
After you've played the (new) drinking mini game, and gotten a lap dance you go back to the main area with HS and Darden.
A cutscene plays, NOOSE bashes in the clubs door. A fully armored man yells
"All targets valid!" and about a dozen NOOSE officers fire upon the club. After you kill them all HS flips out.
"God damnit man what the f*ck!" -HS
"Its Richard. Their killing me off guys." -C
"f*ck! Should of capped that f*ck the second we saw him"-D
"The smart answer isn't always the bloody one Darden. We'll f*ck him up soon enough. But Carcer had it's place in my life. I had to spread Groves influence here man. Or at least protect it from our Bratva" -C
You all get in the car, and have to escape a 3 star wanted level.
"Safe for the grove? Haha yeah. Yeah sure man" -HS
"theres a difference between safe for me and safe for us plus. I bet you and me are going far away after this. No doubt Joses gotten the escape plan ready, and I bet he's getting pretty f*cking antsy to use it"- C
You arrive at a safehouse (provided by Jose earlier) and have the following conversation.
(when they get out)
"Yo guys, get your sh*t together. I'm finishing up some old business, then we're getting the f*ck out of here." -C
"Alright mista. Just remember, we need to bring in some dollas soon. f*ck those bitches up so we can make some cash."-HS
"Haha I'll do my best man."-C
You get a call from JJ
"Carl! Carl, I got that meet with Micky set up. Get here quick and you can have one less loose end. I'm sticking my neck out here Carl. Meet me at the docks"-JJ
JJ hangs up the phone. After you meet him there, (within three hours, you have time to do something) he's pretty jittery.
"Dude you still paranoid? Are you on pills? What's been up with you man." -C
"You know how hard this business is without some coke? Dude i need a f*ckING PEP! I need some sh*t you know? You f*cking do. I know you f*cking do. You get wasted all the god damn time right?! Right?!" -JJ

Carl hides behind a wall. Soon 4 men walk up to JJ.
"You are...Mr. Jack Johnson?" -Russian
"Uh, yes, yes i am.. Uhh, where's my pal Micky?" -JJ
"It does not matter. Where is your coke, Mr. Johnson?" -Russian
"But, Micky, I was to understand he was to be here?" -JJ
"HE'S NOT HERE. GET YOUR COKE." -Russian
"Fine, fine as you wish..." -JJ
JJ turns around to get a duffel bag filled with cocaine. You here the Russians mumbling, when the one who was talking to JJ pulls a pistol. JJ turns aroun and sees it pointed at his face.
"Mr. Johnson. Micky does not judge people very often. But he does, on occasion, judge people by their friends. You're too risky JJ time to"
Carl cuts him off with a bullet to the face.
You have to kill all but one of the Russians. Then chase the last one on foot. He runs past some of his allies who shoot at you. Eventually he gets to a Sanchez. You knock him off and torture him so he'll tell you where Micky is.
"Fine! Fine! He's at our warehouse-on the outskirts of West Carcer. He's waiting for us to report back." -Russian
"You won't be doing that." -Carl
Carl stabs him.
JJ walks over.
"I know a warehouse in West Carcer. I'll drive you." -JJ
As you're in the passenger seat, your car gets assaulted by Bratva, shooting AKs UZIs and pistols. You have to gun them down until you arrive at the warehouse.
When you get there, the Bratva are waiting for you. You must fight through dozens of them until you find Micky, who fled to the roof.
"Micky! You shouldn't have ratted me out!" -Carl points a gun at Micky
"f*ck! You dumb f*cking c*nt!" -Micky
"Haha, any last words ass hole?"- Carl
"Look Carl, people get f*cked in this game. They get betrayed, stabbed in the back, it's just our nature! Please. Just put the gun down." -Micky
"How about I put you down?" Carl shoots Micky
Carl gets a phone call from Jose.
"Jose! Trust me, i've finished all my old business, once we make a plan on how we're going to do this, I will gladly kill both Dmitri and Richard." -Carl
"I'm not mad at you Carl. I'm just worried. We've been monitoring Rick a bit, he's going to do some very bad things. Come to me as soon as you can...I've formulated a bit of a...plan"
"Alright, I will. I guess we're almost ready to end this huh?" -Carl
"This is just the beginning of our struggles friend. That being said, it will be a big victory" -Jose
"Alright, I'll come see you."
The player can now see Jose, or do non story things like hanging out with HS until they're ready.
When you see Jose:
"Carl, my friend. You've managed to survive what would kill most people. You have recieved more police attention than most of my associates. You are truly a skilled and intelligent person. Nonetheless, this task is your biggest yet. Richard Smith is having a speech, a formal address to the people of Carcer City. He will be guarded, but I want you to kill him, with this machete."
Jose hands Carl a machete
Carl thinks for a moment.
"He will die Jose, but why do you want him to?"
"I have some crops down in Colombia. NOOSE and DEA and so many others want us to die out, they want to end the lives of poverty stricken Colombians. I fight for those Colombians, and our operation will survive. I will massacre all who assault our livelihood."-Jose
"Alright. But what about Dmitri?" -Carl
"It is necessary to kill Dmitri in order to cripple the police. The police are by far the most corrupt organization around, and to cement the Cartels power we must eliminate them." -Jose
a pause occurs
"Alright here's the plan. I will send some of my men with you, and so will the Dominican Mob who have been kind enough to contribute to the cause. You will get to Smith's speech, after taking out his bodyguards, dismember him with the machete. After that you must move on to Dmitri, he will be at the precinct in West Carcer, defending himself from the Dominican Mob. Kill him as you wish. After that get to the air port on Mat Island where I will have transport ready to take you to Colombia. You will not be safe here"
"Alright. Time to end this." -Carl
You then exit Joses apartment, followed by your new comrades (some Cartel members). You call HS.
"Steam, man, sh*ts about to go down. I need you to get to the helipad on Mat Island. It's very important." -Carl
"Alright man if you say so. Don't get your ass capped out there."-HS
"Ha, I won't. But I think a lot of others will."
Carl hangs up.
You drive to Richards speech in one of the cartels trucks, followed by two others full of cartel members. The trucks have tinted windows, so Smith won't recognize Carl.
Smith gets on stage, in front of a huge crowd of civilians.
"Civilians of Carcer City. It is no secret, your city has a crime problem. A crime problem that leaks into other areas of the country. As the leader of the National Office Of Security Enforcement, I'm afraid that's a big problem. And for the greater good, I must eliminate the problem." Richard walks backwards, about a dozen NOOSE officers appear from behind walls and fire on the crowd. All hell breaks loose, Smiths assault on the city begins with Annihilater helis flooding the sky, and NOOSE vans speeding out of parking garages. Every civilian screams as they die.
"f*ck, that pyscho c*nt! We have to fight our why to Richard. Help me out guys"-Carl
"A f*cking monster! We'll fight off NOOSE, Richard can't be far away. Go get him Carl"-Cartel member.
You have to fight through the chaos, eventually you see Richard running towards his car, escorted by two NOOSE agents, Carl kills them both. Richard, shocked, quickly turns around to see Carl pointing an M16 at him.
"Carl! Hahaha, who would of thought you would care about civilians?" He tries to pull a pistol but Carl shoots him in the stomach, forcing him to drop the gun and collapse to the pavement.
"You're a sick f*ck Rich. Now lets have you bleed." -Carl slits Smiths throat with the Machete Jose gave him. As Richard chokes on his own blood, Carl cuts his right hand off and puts it in his pocket.
"Jose would want a souveneir" Carl then fights back to the Cartel members.
"We need some back up! Where are the Dominicans?" -Cartel member
"They're assaulting Dmitris police station." They then spot Carl
"Carl, get in the passenger seat, shoot anyone who poses a threat to us!"
You must shoot any NOOSE agent who attacks the car on the way to the station.
When you get there you see Matt E (leader of the DM in this topic if you don't remember)
"Matt! How many are left?" - Carl
"Not many, Dmitri has to be in there. Go f*ck him up Carl!" - Matt E
The opposition inside the police station has been reduced to both injured, and cowering police officers, and finally Dmitri.
"Carl! You dumb f*ck!You WILL die!"-Dmitri lunges at Carl with a knife
"I don't think so." Carl disarms Dmitri and throws him face first into a near-by window, causing lines of blood to drip down from his nose and his cheeks.
"Ug..I would've f*cked your little friend up so much worse!!" -Dmitri
"Don't worry, I'm not done" Carl takes out the machete and makes a deep horizontal cut across his stomach, causing Dimitri to scream in pain.
"No, no stop..Please, don't you have a f*cking soul?"-Dmitri
"No sympathy for you, you little dick" Carl stomps on Dmitris face, breaking his nose.
Dmitri starts crying
"What a little bitch. You can inflict so much pain, but when you take it you cry like a f*cking c*nt?"
Dmitri doesn't reply.
"Glad this is over." -Carl sprays an entire mag into Dmitris stomach.
Carl walks out side of the police station and calls Jose.
"Jose..Where's that transport again?" - Carl
"Are both Dmitri and Richard dead?" -Jose
"Yes, now you better not double cross me. Where's the plane?" -Carl
"Something you probably should have remembered...It's on Mat Island. NOOSE hasn't gotten here yet so we're safe if you can get here quickly. Alright, I'll be there." - Carl hangs up.
You must then fight through the chaos to get HS back at your safehouse.
"Get in Steam. Where's Darden?"-Carl
"I don't know, but we have to leave."-HS
"Alright fine. We're going to the air port on Mat Island. Jose's taking us to Columbia. Dmitri and Richard are dead"-Carl
"sh*t man when is this gonna end?"-HS
When you arrive at the air port Jose greets you by the plane.
"You have done good my friend. This chapter in your life is over."-Jose
Carl nods and him and HS get on the plane, headed for Columbia.
The credits role.
After the credits you can still play, but you play as Darden in a calmed-down Carcer City.
