All the previous True Grime games have been terribly generic, poorly written and uninspired, easily one of my least favorite of all the GTA contenders. I did like a few of the things I saw going on in the game footage (except for the shooting from the motorcycle, instantly destroying vehicles - too arcadey), hopefully the reboot and slight change of direction in production and who's making it will breathe some fresh life into this stale franchise and give it some autonomy. I'll put it in my GameFly cue for now.

Well, it's being developed by United Front Games which had nothing to do with the first two titles apparently. Their team is made up from devs who have all worked on 3 person open-world games from GTA to others.

Lets hope they pull it off.

The map looks cool.

Good question. I hope they're saving that as a surprise. I wont be too dissappointed if there's not, hopefully. Maybe originally there wasn't and now that Square Enix have it, they'll put it in.

Gamespot revealed there was not going to be any planes.

Lets hope they add one or two in before the game is released later this year wink.gif

As for there being no planes, well that's OK. The emphasis will be on hand to hand combat, so I've a feeling I'll be out of my car/vehicle and being on foot, thus giving the map a huge size in itself.

Yeah that's fine with me if there is no flyable vehicles in this game. And it seems it's not fit on this game cause this is not GTA and JC2.

Nice comparison but I like Sleeping Dogs it looks bette than True Crime. Especially the Protag of Sleeping Dogs looks cool compare to True Crime.

Yeah... now that you think about it... you can give a little thank's to Activision for canceling the game so S.E. could eventually come along and polish it up just like we all knew they would. They game's looking really good and I really do look forward to playing it.

Sleeping Dogs looks better but I think the lighting is a bit lacking. True Crime's lighting was overkill but this one looks dead and boring.

And the running style look's a bit better in TC...

But, the game is still in Alpha - so it's bound to eventually change somehow.

This looks like it has the same faults as it's predecessors, unpolished gameplay, and if the storyline is as bad, I think I will let this Sleeping Dog lie...

Yeah, I like the way the stripped it down to art, not just a modern - render. Like 'classic' animation or drawing style. There's lots going on it.
