Question: Hi this mister asker. Ya'll must've played the DYOM mission "Manhunt 2: The Assassination", I want to know something about it. In the first floor where some armies come and attack you he put a Brown down that open and close automatically. I mean it's not a simple door in DYOM cause every door we put in DYOM is strict. I want to know how he did that, if someone know how, he can answer me.

I don't think so, the door is some kinda loose, I mean when you approach it don't open automatically or close automatically, you can go through it without being stopped even for a half second. It's impossible to do that in DYOM! :/

then it must be an interior door that works like that? (assuming that it happens in an interior, cause that's what your question implies)

@SatournFan No, I tried that. I put the same door in the same place, but it didn't work. It's something strange in DYOM. I think he maybe used some SCM codes in his mission, just maybe.

I checked this my self and it was done in DYOM not really sure how, the only person that might know is the creator ProDX34, that sure is one heck of a thing he did. will try to figure this out.

Objectives -> Objects -> Touch it

 

Works only on certain objects tho. The ones you can move/push in standard game (such as the door that ProDX34 had used), like boxes, explosive barrels, etc...

I think you need to insert a new "Timed Section" objective after that next objective and set the time to 0 seconds.

A question: What does the objective "Start Timed Section" do?? I never used it, even for once.


Start counting time from 00:00 and up. When you finish the mission it shows under "Mission Complete" your time. You can use it for example in racing mission and let players show thier scores to choose the best one or time to beat or smth :p

V8.1 is not guaranteed to be the last version for DYOM. One of the DYOM devs already mentioned that they might release a new version, though unfortunately it would only surround bug fixes., and probably no new features.
