She's So Cold by The Rolling Stones. It is the gem of their Emotional Rescue album. I happen to like this song as the band branched of into electronic-styled music quite well with this song.

HELL YEAH, Take this one too! A lost but mildly modern classic

HighWire was a bonus track, but who knew?! Also a promo vid found here on YouTube too!

Can any of you guys recommend some good, upbeat 80s rock like Quiet Riot's Cum on Feel the Noize, I Wanna Rock, Autograph's Turn Up the Radio, etc?

Chorus has the harmony like singing/tone in the backround which I love, can't describe it and don't know if it has a name.

This is like something that would fit in the 80s Miami beach, Nik Kershaw - Won't let me sun go down on me.

How about a few One Hit Wonders, where the 1980s seems to be more prevalent a time period for such things??

Just to correct you, Yes- Owner of a lonely heart, was in GTA Vice City, not Vice City Stories.

I seem to be the only GTA game fan who loved the Black Crowes since day one, for me it was seeing and hearing them on Robert Plant's Now and Zen tour, at that point, music was reborn in a way, 1980 to 1990 for a short 5 years, as Robert Plant finally came to terms with the loss of Led Zeppelin and the Crowes revitalized classic FACES / Stones musical musings

Earliest footage of quality I've seen ^

Got Sammy Hagar solo, prior to Van Halen, as I recollect, 1982 thereabouts

Good stuff we've all but ignored

Also ignored, and criminally so... BILLY SQUIER!

In the Dark, 1982

LIVE too

Oh, just gotta get Noddy Holder, is it? What a name...! ?

Slade ^ .... You'd expect that band to show up in GTA radio, one can hope

Here's another contender, 1989 Heaven's Trail, back in the day I had no cable, no way to enjoy this video like YTube offers today

Here's some of Bob Seger's 80's music. One of the very best singers there has ever been in my opinion. This might, however, be a little to country for you guys. I don't know, take a listen! smile.gif

No Man's Land

Against the Wind -This one is absolutely fantastic.

Shame On The Moon

Roll Me Away

Like a Rock

Great stuff!

Some people make fun of him, Earl Root was one of those peeps, but I even liked this, as soon as I heard it as a tracked single on our rock radio....

It's still a heckuva tune, I tell ya ^^

Could see him in GTA again!

This one perhaps? ^

Nah, this one \/

Whoops, a bit outta the 80s, I remember before Metallica lost their Grammy to Jethro Tull, that band's album was getting air-play, and no real hype machine... in fact, I thought it pretty good coming from them, a return to form.
Yet, the Grammy nomination in the new Hard Rock catagory was so puzzling, Tull didn't even show because they thought it too unlikely for them to win it. Had they just humored themselves, If I were Ian Anderson, I'd give the kudos to Metallica in accepting! hahaha
I think it may have been this song? Not sure when so much time has passed....

I always loved the backing vocals and the insanity of the Hyperactive video, while Maniac and Don't Dream Its Over are guilty pleasures.
