My name is The Killa and this is the greatest thread on GTAforums.com, or your money back. Actually just give me your money.

80's will forever remain the best music period of all time. Ever, forever. I love it so deeply, it's just beyond anything I could describe.

Everyone has linked my favorite ones, so I'll do another one mine:

And yes, Vice City is my favorite game.

[youtube]Loverboy - working for the weekend[youtube]

Thanks to my attractive sister and step sister I ended up spending a week getting totally f*cked up with Loverboy, during the height of that album tounge.gif

Gotta add a little Tommy Tutone to the mix.

Edit:
because this picture just showed up on the front of Yahoo.

So let's pay tribute to the man from the 80s before he changed away from his stage name.

80s music was a great period of music, f*ck anybody else who says it isn't.

My fav song is "Don't You Want Me Baby" by the Human League but that song was already posted, so I'll just put up some Duran Duran

originally i can see eye of a tiger being a really good song, but the shear amount of times it has been used in actioned packed intro's i have lost all taste for it.

This is THE best thread, ever.

I love this song, my favourite from Duran Duran but I get the feeling it's underrated:

Also, gotta love some Hall & Oats:

And f*cking love me some New Order:

By the way, I find it sickening that the sh*tty Uniting Nations remix of Out of Touch is the most viewed version on Youtube.
I mean, it's just a bunch of okay looking women shaking their camel toes at a card table with the songs chorus playing in the background (yes, I watched it biggrin.gif ); that's the modern music industry for ya.

Glad i'm bringing back your old memories that you might have thought had faded away, but then Boom! They all return, i didn't think so many people on here would actualy be from the 80's.

Oh, I'm not from the 80s (born in really early 90s confused.gif ) but damn, I grew up with all the music from then!
However this thread has reminded me of some epic songs.

<3 Crocker's Theme.

They're all my parents played when I was young and it's all I listen to these days; hence why I love this thread biggrin.gif

By the way, if you look on YouTube's 1980's music videos, you'll find that a lot of 14-16 year olds are digging 80s music - if only they all felt that way.

EDIT: This just showed me that I had by date of birth wrong on my profile information lol...

Can't stop listening to talk talk. Mostly known for songs like "Lifes what you make it", which is a real shame considering most of their other songs are on par or far better.

Oh man, I love 80's music (I wish I was born earlier). Most of my favourite songs have been posted already. My favourite artists from the 80's are: Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Stevie Wonder, David Bowie & Queen.

I understand it is an opinion, but really? What about the revelations in music during the 60s and 70s?

I'm really curious as to whether music past the 80s will ever have it's time or a place in people's hearts? I think the 90s my have some tid bits of grandeur, but still. I ask because I was a young adult in the 80s and it cracks me up how much me and all my friends at the time absolutely hated, and were utterly embarrassed by, 80s music.

My wife gets embarsed when I load up a bunch of 80s tracks while playing games. I know she secretly enjoys them though tounge.gif - she is just stubborn and holding onto the hate of the 80s music she had some 30yrs ago or whatever.

Anyway. Here is one I enjoyed.

This is a classic in my opinion, one of the first 80's songs i heard, and it's pretty good if you ask me, i mean it might be very sort of what people would call these days "Girly" but for f*ck'a sake, wake up she's got a good voice!!

And anything else by XTC. Not my all time favorite '80s song, though. Don't really have one.

I'd have to say this is my favorite from them (also from the '80s).

Totally a great song
and how about some more XTC for fun

This was always one of my faves

I'm too lazy to look back, but has anyone added The Violent Femmes yet?

Edit:
As I was listening to my post of the Violent Femmes, my wife asked from her adjacent office "Are you listening to the Violent Femmes?" Cracked me up.

Well where to start there are so many 80s tracks I love. OK here are a few:

Well those are just a few. wink.gif
