Sorry if this seems like a bit of a stupid question but what are some of the things that we can achieve with an 'sco editor'?

But it's only a very very basic editing. Only simple commands can be spawned now (i think).

Yeah. It's low level editing, but still I can spawn a car or change the time. Simple things like that. smile.gif
I doubt if anyone is interested in that (low level). confused.gif

Would that low-level sco. editing be able to recreate San Andreas first mission, I mean that the player spawns in the alleyway that the cops leave CJ and put a BMX in front of you? smile.gif

As you saw on the video spawning vehicles and changing spawn is possible. I don't think that playing cutscene from SA is though.

For crying out loud. I knew people would say "remake the missions" All this is is a conversion of San Andreas to the RAGE engine. Nobody is interested in remaking the whole game, aspecially if it's impossible ATM.

Someone knows how I can select multiple object in Zmodeler? I can for example only select the right door of a car, but I want to select the whole car to move it.

I need to align a car, someone please help.

In the menu (while in Vertex Mode) Press Select->All or just Ctrl+A and than Modify->Move!

what are you talking about, I just asked it once dontgetit.gif

Anyway, I go to vertex mode and then do select>all but nothing happens. I have to select a part of the car, for example the wheel and then it only selects everything in that wheel.

Ok , than ask Oleg tounge.gif or PM someone here on Forums who might know. I myself don't know much about Zmod , i do on the other hand about 3ds Max and it's my all-time favourite tool of choice!

thankyou to everyone who complimented on my video and one of the teammembers for trusting me to send me the mod the video got featured on Kotaku and got 10 000 views the first minutes or first hour so this will probably give the mod some more attention

Just a quick vid of Las venturas(too bright? its the old vid with the brighter sets) The only thing I dont like about is that we Cannot see the beautiful trees(with lights) on car reflections.
The ugly shadow on the car is cause by SSAO, havent tweaked it properly yet

Really really lower windowslightintensity in enb settings. tounge.gif
I use the same shader in those vegas objects, that R* did on windows at night.

Other then that, looks cool.

Kotaku commenters really get on my nerves. Whenever a Saints Row article is posted, they go on and on about how San Andreas was better than IV and how IV completely sucked. However, when an article about a cool mod like this is posted, they start praising IV.

Anyway, I'm really glad this mod is finally getting some coverage. It deserves it.

I think the reason they hated IV was because it was in Liberty City and Alderney (NYC and New Jersey), while San Andreas and SR2 had bigger maps (although IV had a great replica of NYC). However, IV kicks a in gameplay and physics. Maybe a change of heart? Especially since we're getting a bigger map with IV's physics and graphics.

On another note, do we have to delete our save games?

People like that too on /v/ when IV gets brought up saying SR2 is better then SA better then SR and goes on.

BUT how come you dont just use the trees and foliage from GTA4?
The trees and folilage in SA look pretty bad ported over.

1. so, will having rage mean this will have gta iv's driving/crash physics?
2. will it also have euphoria? cuz the two kinda seem to go hand in hand, and ragdoll like physics would really help out s.a.

I think you got it wrong. This is a map mod for IV/EFLC
