Modification for GTA San Andreas with Cleo Library

GTA IV Grenadelauncher instead Flowers

Weapon data modification by Function-X-
Cleo Script and converted weapon model from gtaiv by ZAZ

Your Player_actor use now the Flowers like a shotgun but in a mode which was unused all the time
press fire button to shoot a grenade
the GrenadeFlowerLauncher is now in the weapongroup 0 (fist, brassknuckel)
press W and P to switch between fist, brassknuckel and GrenadeFlowerLauncher as current weapon


requires minimum Cleo version 3.0.950 of june 2008 or newer, cleo4 is also supported
copy: GrenadeFlowerLauncher.cs > into cleo folder

replace flowera.dff and flowera.txd of models\gta3.img

edit default.ide and weapon.dat
- either you copy the data folder of this mod into your GTA SA root directory
then the installation is complete but don't forget to backup first your current default.ide and weapon.dat

- or you edit the default.ide and weapon.dat manual with the instruction in the readme.txt

This basically is the best grenade launcher script made till now, it's just too perfect and have all the required features.
Soon there will be another version that will feature muzzle flash and a new explosion wink.gif

Also if you guys use Ryosuke outfit mod, Open outfit.dat and replace the Flowers line with this:

Thanks people, great biggrin.gif the mod works very well
the goal was the weapon.dat line from Function-X- which connects the weapon with the animation
it was also his idea to make such a mod, only a weapon model was missing

That's strange, because i'm just started game, and when i'm aiming with grenade launcher - game crashes.
But, if replace buddybad to riflebad in weapons.dat, and BUDDY_* to RIFLE_* anims in script - works fine. WTF?

I'm using my own weapons.dat, so i replaced the lines. Mod worked earlier this day, but something happend(another savegame?) and it starts crashing. Maybe crash depends of player skills.

Hmmm i tried to change the weapon skill but i didn't crash at all.
Just make sure you put all the lines correctly:

Default.ide
Delete the old Flowers line from (# gift type weapons)and add the red line at the exact same section(# shotguns)

I'm actually have working mod with rifles anims, so i didn't forgot anything smile.gif
Maybe trouble in my anim file, who knows...
And, by the way, detonator slot is better than fist:

I tested it, It's incredible awesome!
But ZAZ... may you make one version, which ONLY makes the grenade launcher working (shooting)?
I only don't like the spawn key "W + P" and that the grenade launcher spawns at every savegame load up. I want it like a normal weapon in GTASA smile.gif

I encountered the same problem when i load a specific savegame
then i loaded another savegame and it worked
then i could also load the prvious savegame and play the grenadelauncher with aimbutton

I have had the same problem, but I fixed it, you need to add the line in the beginning of the script:

CODE
thread 'GRENFLW'
wait 10
04ED: load_animation "RIFLE"

or

for original anims. I use rifle anims, so...

I have had the same problem, but I fixed it, you need to add the line in the beginning of the script:
