Its just a fancy word for a certain shade. Save the example MP5 and open it up, copy the shade of gray used in it and just paste it into your icon.

I tried to make one, but failed. I had to use paint as paint.NET wouldn't install, but I touched it up in the Windows Picture Fixer thingy.

Somewhere on the site there should be a button to enlarge the icons to 200% size.

The trigger looks deformed to me, but otherwise I'm proud of it. You should add that to use the gray in all parts use the bucket tool, i was kind of confused at that step.
