I just tried using 'stencilshadowopacity'

What ever value I set it too, it was always jet black; no opacity what-so-ever.

I was hoping to darken the shadows a bit, to remove the need for shadows with ENB; which will save FPS

Awesome updates !

Can you bring a few more things over from SALA? Like ped shadows?

And 'bout the heat-haze.. I can disable it with SALA, but when I use your script, I still have the haze..

Possibly... But that isn't the intention. And this has a different aim to SALA. Stream Ini Extender is mainly just to add some game fixes, performance settings and tweaks... not to increase limits.

Also a fix for stencilshadowopacity.. every value makes it totally black, no opacity at all..

Ped Shadows + Cloud Height will be added bonus !

I thought that has something to do with StreamMemoryFix.asi, and haven't used it... But still doing it, thought it was just some random bug with combination of 20 cleo mods and so on...

But yeah, fix for it would be really great turn.gif

That does actually help ! But has to be 50% or lower, or it has no effect on me.

One place that always does it, is grove street, if I look straight at the ground (birds eye view) the ground disappears, but stays if I have Draw Distance @ 50% or lower.. But now the scenery looks like crap as buildings etc dont draw as far.

Stream Ini Extender 0.6 Released!

This version increases compatibility with additional exe's. If you have previously had problems getting Stream Ini Extender to work with your version, I recommend tring this update.

Just to bring it down a notch, so it looks better; clearer..

I used to use a tool on my XP machine, and brought it down to like 20 feet, and looked awesome in game. But cant find that tool again sad.gif

EDIT:

BTW, i see no effect either when using SALA's cloud height.

I thought of one little improvement for some people who use Low FX...

You know, when you explode a car, and on Low FX it will turn into black wreck? And on Very High FX it will still have it's color? Maybe add the ability to maintain color after explosion on Low FX? biggrin.gif

Is it possible for a CLEO; that while looking down at the ground (birds eye view) that the draw distance (in the option menu) is decreased?

That would save a lot of dramas. I got rid of the gray ground by putting draw distance to halfway, but now it doesn't look as good ingame, as map doesn't draw as far.

1.7 it's not a maximum draw distance, so you may want to change it. First write is for options menu, second is actual draw distance value.

What is the maximum value for draw distance if its not 1.7?
