OK, I might get this because I read that it has some kind of combat arena. If the combat arena is like multiplayer in single player form, then I'm interested.

Yeah I might get this too. I ignored Leviathan and Omega because I knew they were not worth the money. Anyway screenies. Image are too big so I linked them:

http://www.gamedynam...-dlc-news-1.jpg
http://blog.bioware....02/Citadel3.jpg

Achievement List has been leaked too. Minor spoilers. Combat Arena as GTAvanja stated is in, and it sounds fun just based on the achievement for it. Also, WE GET TO PAAAAARTAAAAAY!

I currently have my whole month of March free. Quit my job and awaiting for college. So I decided I'm gonna do a sick playthrough of the entire trilogy. Started a new character, Norman Shepard on the first Mass Effect. This time, I won't make the decisions that would give me the best outcome. This time I want to make the decisions to canon my own story. I have no idea who to bang though. I love Liara but at the same time I'm craving for Miranda's tushie. And I know all romance interests are gonna make another scene for the new DLC coming up so I better choose wisely.

I must say, the gunplay in ME1 is awesome. Currently playing as an Infiltrator but gonna changed into an Engineer once I hit into ME2 because I never tried that class right now. The way you get into a firefight in ME1 was superb. I think the perfect combat system for a ME game would be to combine the gunplay from ME1 to the crazy powers you have at your disposal from ME3.

And I'm still praying one day we get a ME game where it's somewhat GTA-ish and we play as Archangel on Omega.

Haha it looks fun! The trailer gave me a ME2 vibe, which I really like. I hope everyone is at least a temporary squadmate.

One last dance with characters I know and love over the course of six years. I think some of my tears are gonna be shed.

Has anyone not played the DLC yet? People have been saying it's the best ME DLC ever, even better than Shadow Broker and that's saying a lot. And your squadmates from the previous games are temporary squadmates in this one!

I myself have not played it. I think I'll be playing this in a week or so. Currently halfway through my ME2 playthrough. I could just load up an old save in ME3 but I want this to be a proper trilogy playthrough. When I meet the characters one last time in the Citadel DLC, it'll definitely feel like a real ending.

I want to want this DLC bad enough, but I can't take a chance on being so disappointed like I was already. Mass Effect 3 is like that ex-girlfriend that makes you dye your hair black and start listening to Radiohead more often.

Dude dude dudeeeeeree you have to get this one. Ignore Leviathan and Omega, just get this one. I promise you this would satisfy you enough. It's the real ending for the characters you know and and love throughout the years.

Sounds awesome. I just bought the Trilogy just to get my hands on ME1. Started a brand new play through and am planning on doing all 3. The franchise really does strike a nerve deep down somewhere, it gets quite emotional at times.

No, It's not a new ending, it's a new dlc that you get to "play" before you join the fight on earth.

The ending will not change.

I meant it's a proper send-off for the characters. Like duh I know Bioware are too lazy to change the ending.

Hence why I said ending for the characters.

I'm still debating whether I should get this or not. I don't give a crap about any of that emotional stuff. Is it still worth buying if I don't care about that? Convince me. For example, what is the combat arena like?

Its very arcade-y and hell lotsa fun. It's pretty much like MP but there's this addictive point system. You can fight against any enemy, The Collectors included.

Best part, ME2 squadmates are available as your squadmates for the arena. Want to fight alongside Grunt or Jack again? Yeap you can do that.

The DLC is quite hilarious too. And without spoiling much, there's a point where all your squadmates are fighting together.

Yes you can. Come to think of it, having Wrex and Grunt together would be pretty awesome. First time having two krogans in my squad.

Got the Citadel DLC. Played it. Loved it.

The final scene should have been the actual ending to the trilogy. It would have been perfect. The feels, man. The feels.

I suppose this is the part where I'll say I told ya so.

So yeah, I know right?

This past two weeks I've been playing through ME1 and ME2 with my new Engineer. This would be my most canon Shepard because it's the decisions that I made are the decisions that I want and not what is best. Just started on ME3, gonna finish up everything until the very last assault on Cerberus then I'll do the Citadel.

Also I think the DLCs have spoiled the MP portion for me. Not that they are bad or anything but because I have a whole lot on characters that are still locked and I'm lazy to earn all the credits just to unlock them. Nothing still beats Krack the Salarian Infiltrator though, he's my most badass MP character to use.

I'm noticing the companions you can have in the Citadel DLC seem to vary.

Possible spoiler...

I wonder if it is dependent on where you are in the game? For example I see screen caps that have Miranda in it, but I didn't see her in mine. I wonder if its better to wait until you have helped everyone in ME3 before attempting the DLC?

Yeap you do. It's best to do the DLC after the Sanctuary mission. That's when you've met and helped everyone.

I still absolutely despise the original ending. And the Extended Cut one that actually made it worse somehow. What a damn shame to ruin one of the richest video game universes in the last 10 minutes of the final game.

I'm more disappointed with the direction Bioware has taken for the story. Sure there were tremendous parts like Tuchanka and the Quarian/Geth War but other than that, I wished they have taken things differently.

For example, the stuff they did with Cerberus, I hate how they were the big bad of the game. Illusive Man is one of the most interesting characters and they just make him the generic madman baddie.

And I hoped to see twists in the story. Like what if, one of your squadmates was indoctrinated? Damn that would be good.

Mass Effect is like a TV show in a way. You're missing out 2/3 of the experience by not playing the first two games.

So I have completed the Citadel DLC. Multiple times. Because it's that f*cking good. That's a crazy theory about the DLC here.

Would really love to get a discussion going on for the DLC. Like what was your favorite moment? Grunt absolutely stole the show for me.

Oh and COOLMANnumbers, playing number 3 without playing the previous two is just wrong and considered a sin. You are aware that decisions carry across games right? It's either play the whole trilogy or don't play at all. Should have gotten the Trilogy Set.

Yes. The trilogy set was recently released for PS3. But does it contain all the story DLC for Mass Effect 2? Because playing it without Kasumi, Zaeed and the missions like Lair of The Shadowbroker, The Overlord and The Arrival is again like missing out on key episodes of a TV show.

It's really not a game that anyone should play without playing the previous ones. It doesn't make any sense. I think it's the only game that's structured in such a way. It's because of all the relationships you form with the characters. It's the only game that made me care deeply about it's characters. There is no Shepard without Vakarian.

Seriously, Garrus is the coolest motherf*cker in the galaxy. And you just can't fully appreciate him and other characters without playing through ME1 and ME2 first.

I don't think it was the DLCs were shipped along with the set. I could be wrong on this though.

And amen about Garrus.
QUOTE
Garrus Vakarian: Forgive the insubordination, but this old friend has an order for you. Go out there and give them hell. You were born to do this.

That whole scene just made me appreciated the greatest bromance in the history of gaming. Both dudes style of humor just watering down at the very last moments. After three games of fighting baddies, they finally took a breath to acknowledge each other's friendship.

See this is what the whole trilogy is about. It ain't about saving the galaxy or machines taking over, it's about the close bonds we develop over the course of six years.

It was an overwhelming feeling when Wrex told me I was a brother to him in ME3. And you can't get that kind of feeling if you didn't played the previous two. So many characters I grew up with and love.

Grunt, who I treated as my trouble making adopted child I love.

Miranda, whose fine ass tushie and backstory justified her as my main love interest.

Mordin, damn where do I even begin with this guy? Each conversation with him was just gold. We all know of one heartbreaking scene from him. If you didn't felt a single thing, you're a monster.

Wrex my crazy headbutting uncle I never had.

Liara because she's Liara.

And of course the best bro ever, Garrus.

And that's not even all the characters I love. Well there are a couple I hate, I'm looking at you Jacob and Ashley, but these characters are the only reason why I regard the trilogy to be the best out there.

The best.
