Thanks Tony. I am working on MC whenever I have time, so its moving forward. Now I am testing new version of tools, with many new things enabled. It contains mini games, such as Drug Wars, and Kill Frenzy, etc. Also, i am working on even more advanced recorder. It will record everything you do with main character (walking, shooting, ducking, hiding etc), and in vehicles it will record when you press horn, change lights, open doors, break doors, and possibly damage. Idea is to make something like GTAIV developers widgets, that were removed from final build. My script, just like previously mentioned widgets, make it possible to export live data to external script. So you can later use recorded script for any custom mission, and for any of your characters.

Hey, nice to see some big IV projects still going on, I'm sure this one will be a popular one for Machinima enthusiasts.
There was one thing i was wondering about; how do you do the car damage stuff? I've tried to find out how to do it, but havent found anything that worked.

Also, hope you release source when youre done with the project smile.gif

Small update:

# Completely rewritten 2P car handling

# Added reverse

# Added handbrake

# Added Drive By (aim and shoot at any point)

So, in few days, I will upload this component, so you will be able to have fun with friends. Note that for 2P mod, you will need a Joypad.

Well, Tony, I hope to finish it soon. There is a lot of work to be done, but as a matter of fact last night i tested DrugWars again. Now, i tweaked it here and there, and fixed few huge bugs that prevented it from becoming a release. Now it works incredible. Still have to add features beside few fellas with jamaican accent who sell weed for you and bring you money.

Man this sounds like a sick mod, has some really interesting features. You made the car record from scratch? Cause i believe i saw some native with stuff like that?

I have created Car Recording from scratch, becuase I couldn't get Native functions to work. I am using similiar approach as Rockstar. It has its good and bad sides, but it works. Also, I have like tons of improvements to add to final release.

Been following your progress for sometime now, and just had to say I also really can't wait to play this.

Thank you all for supporting my work. I have good news. Kill Frenzy is complete. I will post new build as soon as I inspect code few more times. In this latest version, I have added frenzy.config file, and dynamic pickups all over the map. There is no limit on number of spawning locations. All show up only when you enter frenzy area. After you pick up cakebox ($), you will hear frenzy sound, and you'll have to finish mini game in 60 seconds to earn cash reward. Police will stop chasing you, and you can keep the remaining arsenal. Vehicle will detonate itself in 10 seconds after time runs out, or when you finish frenzy. You can repeat frenzy after it respawns itself.

Hmm, I'm sad because I can't use your mod, it seems...
I use GTA IV v1.0.0.4 and it is not compatible with the latest version of ScriptHook.
And I don't want to install the latest GTA IV patch, because most of the mods I use aren't compatible with.

I guess there is no way you can make a "downgraded" version of your mod to work with older Scripthook version ?
I'm looking for a way to get it to work, but... Well, good luck on your amazing mod, anyway, man !

Ok, I will try to recompile the code with earlier version of ScriptHookDotNet, but I can't promise anything. I realize that most of mods that u use are no longer supported or updated, so you have to use the old version of scripthook.

For other users this is tested in EFLC / TBOGT, v1.1.2 with Scripthook 0.5.1 and ScripthookDotNet v1.7.1.7.

A good news for all gta fans. 2 player cooperative may become part of Kill Frenzy 1.1. Also, a huge breaktrough: I have managed to add gta IV audio to EFLC. I have tested most of the radio stations and mission speech, and used it in game. So you can soon be able to see missions with NIKO, JACOB, ROMAN, LUIS, JOHNNY playing in one single game. Everything is working 100%, with no crude hacks, or replacing.

And its not all....

Added features to MidnightCrime:

Create playlists of all GTA4 music
Play/Fast forward/Rewind all music (select/play)
Use all scripted speech from all missions
Build complex scenarios with multiple speakers
Control all garages (more than 20 garages)
Record pedestrians / replay it all

Plus many more features.

Hey man, I watched again the Two Players Coop Mode, and it seems to be brutal. But I'm wondering if you are creating it like the 2p mode in san andreas (for ps2) where the camera zoomed out if the players were far away from each other, or some sort of split screen crazy stuff? catspider.gif ... you said something about 2p as part of kill frenzy, you mean 2p will be available only in frenzy mode? Thanks for taking interestest in these set of mods. You have been helpful for me to improve and add more content to the game. Most of the scripts have been rewritten, and will be extremely fun to play few new MiniGames, as it was building them.

I will post full log with changes, and first release of the MiniGames, including preview video(s). I am programming everything alone, so it takes a little more time to finish. However, I've recently made something I couldn't keep to myself. How about your own custom radio station? Or Bahama Mama playing your choice of tunes? Select, build playlist, press play, rewind, fast forward any song. Also, add commercials, mix up two stations in one, and then create your own skin for The player. I will even explain how to add audio content from GTAIV to EFLC, to have even more choice in music and radio shows. The Player is here.
