Here's hoping it's Tara.

Whhhhaaaaa!? I like her. She's gone through waaaaay too much sh*t to die.

Good cliffhanger but I kinda know how it ends up due to those spoilers I posted, I'll keep a button on it.

I just think her plots are a bit annoying and overly-whiny, and they can take away a lot from some of the more interesting plots, in my opinion. I still think this season is in need of some major plotline trimming. There's just too much happening at once! That said, I did quite like the last episode, and the cliffhanger ending was very well-executed. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I'm with Tara needing to bite it, shes just annoying at best and I tend to skip over her scenes unless they involve the necromancer.

Honestly, I'd agree with that to. She annoys me as a whole - despite what she's gone through. The only allowance for her dying would be to become a vamp. Now that would be awesome to see. To be fair, my next person I wouldn't mind being axed from the show is Sam. I think his storyline after the whole cow god moment with that chick really ended his good story lines. His sh*t from the previous season and partly this one didn't interest me in the slightest - kind of annoying really. I know it was probably for a back story for his life - but there was a reason for leaving him mysterious - he's kinda boring.

As for this season its pretty awesome so far. I totally see Jason and Jessica hooking up at some point - I really really, really want to know more about Bills past though. It seems so f*cking interesting after seeing the part where he's in England and being a Punk sooo unlike him Really excited to see what could happen in the future though - I did look at the plot for the future episodes but I really don't think it gives to much away.

Hmmm true, but I totally knew she was going to be okay after seeing Jason run to stop her.

I totally knew she was going to be ok for umm...quite a while after she tore open her blouse. That rack ain't getting written out anytime soon.

Weird you should say that, I also kind of wondered if Sookie was going to fade out and shift elsewhere or something after being shot but they kept going with it. I do like the brutality of that final scene it made up for all my eye rolling during the Eric and Sookie scenes. Not sure why Bill saved Tara other than her being close to Sookie.

Also, as harsh as Hoyt was I'm really glad he wasn't the whiny bitch version of himself in Jessica's dream.

Man this season just keeps one-upping itself on the cliffhangers. Intense way to end the episode, can't wait to see where they take it.

I've yet to watch episode 8 and have finally caught up to the point where I can watch it, and must say the last couple of episodes have been nothing short of awesome. The cliff hanger at the end of episode 7 really has me wondering what is going to happen now!

I'm intrigued by Jasons predicament, does he really not change now? Or do we think this will happen in a later episode?

That woman that keeps appearing near that arlenes baby is rather strange, and now lafayette can see her?

Just watched Episode 9, it keeps getting more exciting. I can't help but think Debbie has an ulterior motive. That pack leader is an ass, looks like Alcide could be rising up the ranks though.

Sookie's dream sequences were starting to get a little corny every episode, but the one she had with both Bill and Eric was great, especially with that background music and soft glow lighting lol.gif

I really enjoyed the scenes with the spirit. Quite gripping hearing what she had to go through, I love the actor who plays Lafayette too.

Oh and Jason and Jessica? Definitely a hot couple.

As I posted on the 'book: Who put all this Touched by an Angel sh*t in my Vampire porn????

I'm loving the vampire conspiracy stuff. I just wish it were executed with a little more panache. This season feels somewhat... cheap? Have they lowered the budgets, perhaps?

Yeeeeeaaaaa...guess it's not in her contract this season.

@Otter: The opening episode made for SyFy, fairy world sh*t and the whole side story with the ghost ascending into the heavens in a brilliant flash of light are probably my two strikes this season as far as seeing something that set off the word "cheesy" in the back of my head for visual effects. I couldn't put my finger on it but your "Touched By An Angel" nod totally seemed apt. Sometimes less is more.

@Cloud: The dream sequence with Eric & Bill actually had my eyes rolling back into my skull. They just keep harping on this Harlequin novel masturbatory stuff and it feels a bit forced at the end of the day. I mean I know the novels by Charlaine Harris are certainly geared towards a female reader but every once in a while I feel like I'm being repeatedly hit over the head with it.

Plus.

Yeah I admit these scenes are getting corny as it's happening every episode, but I probably liked the latest one the most because I think Sookie is hot. ph34r.gif

I didn't care for the orange light effect of the spirit coming out of Lafayette, but the scenes themselves and the story I enjoyed. Although it ended up a bit of a contrast considering I thought it was some kind of possessed baby at the beginning (looking back to that one scene where the writing was on the wall about Terry being the father or something.)

RE the books, if you haven't read them yet, I'd steer clear of some of the middle ones where Sookie and Eric are together, there's some quite descriptive sex scenes that you may not want to read while imagining Charlaine Harris behind the pen!

Yea, it just seems like they put a pretty little bow on that whole plotline when the whole set up for it seemed much more sinister going in.

I don't like all this new sh*t they came up with. It seems to be going nowhere and we really don't need so many different paranormal species. I really loved the show when it was just about vampires trying to adjust in a world where people know of their existence. But now it's slowly turning into Twilight-ish sh*t. It's still a good show, but witches, fairies and warepanthers are retarded. I have no complaints against werewolves and shifters. They actually add to the show. I'd like to see a spin-off about werewolf packs.

Spoilers and such.

The werepanther and fairy plot lines of this season seemed to fizzle off into nothing, that's for sure. Kind of a waste of time, but I don't mind all the other supernaturals in the show (though fairies are a bit much).

I guess I'm one of the few who thought the Jesus exorcism scene was pretty awesome (especially for showing the more overt powers of Shamanism). The light effect was a little cheesy but I liked the amplification of his voice.

The only thing that bothers me is Martonia's occasionally hammed up performance, whether the overflaring of the Italian accent, or the ROCK ON hand gestures she occasionally does while casting spells.

Finally caught up with season 4 and all I can say is f*cking cliff hangers, so far it hasn't been bad since I've always had the next one to watch. But now I've got to wait until the next one is aired! Crazy.

I have noticed that the whole werepather thing has fizzled out to nothing at the moment, however this could possibly come back. I can't really see them building a story for a few episodes and just ending it like they did, so I think it may make a reappearance towards the end.

The ending for the baby seemed a bit strange to me, considering up until last episode I considered the baby to be possessed and not some doll that linked to a spirit.

The pack is going to be proof interesting, since it looks like alcide could indeed be moving up the ranks and I too think that she does have some motive, should proove interesting in the next couple of episodes.

I see that Jason gave into Jessica knew that would happen. They certainly do make a hot couple. Although I prefer Sookie! On the subject of Jason, it seems that he is making a better cop than Andy at the moment.

Yea, I mean, I'm not really put off by that bit at all. Harris borrowed (see: stole) her entire storyline setting from White Wolf's World Of Darkness series of RPGs. Within that you have:

Vampire - The Masquerade

Werewolf - The Apocalypse

Wraith - The Oblivion

Mage - The Ascension

Changeling - The Dreaming (fairies & goblins'n sh*t)

So at this point in Season 4, she's literally incorporated every last bit of that and probably has a lot of people thinking she's wonderfully original for crossing over all these mythical beings but it's really just to be expected based on the source material she ganked.

So, I enjoyed the twist with Marney actually being sort of the evil one, that was clever.

There was a leak that a "main character" would die this season. I'm wondering if that's Sam's younger brother or if it's going to be someone else as well. I keep thinking Mr. Jesus "I'm a bruHO, bro!" Velasquez is going to get axed but that's probably just wishful thinking. To be frank but not hateful, I'm a bit tired of all the copious man-smoochin'. It's like Alan Ball is going out of his way to say, "Just in case you forgot I created Six Feet Under! So squirm some more you dirty homophobe, assholes!"

Anywho, everyone looked pretty bad ass and color coordinated rolling up in their black jumpsuits, good way to end the episode.

The next episode looks kind of ridiculous...in a good way.. I think.

That certainly was a twist I enjoyed as well. Very nicely done as well.

I think that it is Sams younger brother who has died this time around, but perhaps there will be more.

I loved the ending, that was absolutely fantastic, really wanting to watch the next episode now.

Spoilers for the whole season 4 below.

So addicted to this show. I axed the entire series down in a week, and just finished watching s4e10. Can't wait to see what unfolds between Marnie and the vamps, but I'm worried for Jason's safety on this one. The whole main character dying doesn't really fit with Sam's younger brother since he's not really a 'main' character - more like a sidestep in Sam's personal journey. Loving the set up between Alcide, Sam, Marcus and Debbie, though. Probably my favourite direction Sam's story has taken in the whole season - it's almost worth 10 episodes of him and his brother having issues.

I can't wait for the continuation of the vamp/witch thing - the vampire storyline is always my favourite plot in each season.

Wow, that really felt like a season finale despite being 10 minutes short of an hour it had a lot of cool things going on.

That thing with Eric drinking from that guys heart like a soda can was really f*cking disgusting and awesome all at once.

I know people are a bit tired of that fairy sh*t but I am really curious about Andy and where all that stuff with the fairy in the woods will end up, seems like a plot line that might roll over to next season.

The Season Finale seems like all kinds of crazy from that preview. This show is usually good about tying up loose ends by the end of the season but we may be left with more than one cliffhanger till next year. All bets are off, me thinks.
