Well, if nothing else, the whole Sookie and Warlow thing makes it easier for me to ship Bill and Eric, so that's a positive thing about this season.

What?

It f*ckin' sucks that the bulk of Warlow's scenes are just him being tied to a tree lol. I honestly don't care for him and Sookie. He is proving to be the most useless character and I wouldn't care if he were staked in the finale. Dude's boring and his interactions with Sookie aren't that interesting.

I think Eric sunbathing is one of the funniest things in the entire series.

Umm what's up with all these humans suddenly acting as the carriers of Hep V? Pretty sure I should've missed something.

They were testing to ensure they weren't carriers so they could match with uninfected vampires and feed them. The uninfected vamps are stronger than the roaming hordes of infected ones so they can offer protection in exchange for being fed.

Did Eric died???

That was a weird scene. It feels both like a death scene and like it's there to fool us into thinking that he's dead. I have no idea what to think.

I think the Warlow situation could have been handled better. It felt cheap and rushed compared to the rest of the episode. It's like they just ran out of ideas and time and scrapped a few scenes together to wrap things up.

That Eric scene had me wanting to yell "burrow into the snow, you asshole" at my screen. It has to be a trick. A viking would never go out like that.

I think if Eric was dead they'd have shown him turn to goop. It would be kind of strange if Eric simply never appears again after that scene.

I really did not get this last episode..I have never been so f*cking confused at a season finale.

The first half was fine, but the second half going by in 6 months, really WHY? I understand what happened, but WHY..I mean seriously.

By the looks of things to me, it is telling me that the humans are volunteering to be slaves to vampires in exchange for protection.. Human Trafficking and slavery on a show about vampires. I could have the wrong impression.. but that is how it looks.

I really do not know what to think..

I feel it was not a properly done on so many levels. Kind of disappointed a bit..

No one was forcing the humans into the deal. The uninfected vampires need the uninfected humans as much as the uninfected humans need the uninfected vampires.

'True Blood' to end with season 7 in 2014, HBO confirms

Not sure how I feel about this. It's had some really sketchy storylines, but at the same time it feels kinda crap that the next 10 episodes will be the last. It was a summer show I always looked forward to alongside Dexter.

I'm sure the minds behind True Blood will come up with another great show. After all, Alan Ball has some good titles under his belt, American Beauty, Six Feet Under and True Blood. Something else will tickle his fancy soon enough.

That kinda sucks. I don't expect top notch quality out of True Blood. I like that it's a bit trashy and over the top. I'm going to miss it.

I thought once the fairy sh*t took center stage, the show had pretty much set it's own death timer. I'd rather it end before it becomes complete crap, so I'm happy.

I don't even know if I want to watch.

I know I will. But I just didn't like last season as much as the others. I get the feeling Sookie's going to end up as a lumberjack, and we'll all be disappointed.

7 seasons now, eh?

I've never watched True Blood for more than about 3 minutes while flipping around waiting on my other HBO/Showtime favorites to start or something.

should I pick this up? is it really that great of a show if you're not already into the whole vampire thing?

It is a very cheesy show. Like, if you're looking for serious drama, stay away at all costs. If you can turn your brain off, it is very entertaining.

Hence "my body is ready". You don't have to use your brain at all and it still manages to be ridiculously entertaining.

This premiere did get me interested.

Still wondering where Eric is. The map showed "Rhône" which is a river that's in the Alps (correct me if I'm wrong). Ill spoiler tag this, since it's so soon after the show, but...

Yeah, no way. If it's not on screen, it probably didn't happen.

They really amped up the cheese, I was rolling my eyes twice as frequently as usual.

Of course Tara's alive. Just like Eric. Unless you see them die onscreen then they're still alive.

Not too impressed with the first episode. The series has gone way downhill.

I think it's got the potential to be better than last season, though.  If they just stick to the classic Vampires, and don't do the whole global conspiracy/world government stuff, I'll like it better.

Yeah but the last season was awful. So it wouldn't be hard for this one to be better.

I was a little confused at the tension they seemed to be trying to make me feel with the Hep-V vamp camped outside Andy's house. I mean, Jessica's defense served 0 purpose. Close the blinds, problem solved.

Definitely a way to keep her hanging around.  Especially with the blood drinking.  This show is about as subtle as a dump truck going through a nitroglycerin plant.

Crossing my fingers for some sexy Adilyn/Jessica nudie dreams.

I really couldn't get into True Blood.. I caught a few episodes during it's creation when the ex watched it like a religion but other than that.. it didn't attract me well. It's like a sh*tty Goosebumps book turned into a HBO series.

Is this going to be the final season of the series?
